I have got $57 in my balance and requested payment in the beginning of January..
Now almost a month later, they still haven't processed that payment.
Anyone else having issues with their payouts?

am I missing something? maybe I didn't get enough sleep.. correct me if I am wrong.. I have filled my tax information and declared my tax ID.. I am supposed to pay %10 to US from "my income" according to the tax treaty, but envato is deducting %22 or something like that.. (didn't do the exact math) My earnings from an $11 sale was $4.50 last month.. after the US tax is deducted which is %10 for me, I should receive $4.05 but is it the case? no.. I received $3.50 from that sale and paid %22-23 tax or something like that.. (my W8BEN form says %10, not %22..) it appears we are paying envato's taxes?! am I missing something? https://forums.envato.com/t/why-envato-does-not-exclude-their-fees-from-authors-tax-base/26203

I am not sure if it's a good decision.. Time will tell.. I have still got a lot to learn.. Anybody who has done this already? Would love to hear your experience.. Also, any feedback would be appreciated.. I have probably made some mistakes and it could have been better.. I will be glad to hear any criticism, so I can improve.. I am planning to do a video for every single work I do from now on.. I may fail on this since it's easier said than done.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDJk8npY6OE(not sure if there is a way to embed it so it can be viewed on this page)

it obviously gets my attention seeing pond5 that high on poll results..
Could some illustrators please confirm that it is indeed a top 5 earner for vectors?

of all the sites I am submitting Alamy is by far the worst..
I understand that everybody will have different results, but really? that much different?
and I am not on pond5 but is it really better than CanStockPhoto, bs and envato? because if it is, then it's really worth it..

it's amazing how creative they are when inventing various ways of screwing contributors..

I am not on pond5 and would be happy if contributors who are on all those 4 sites provide some insight about it?
Is pond5 a legit middle tier site that consistently does better than those aforementioned sites?
if better, then how much better?
if not, then is it actually closer to low earners? or is it about the same?
EDIT: Ron made a very good point.. Please compare them for photos and vector sales..
Is pond5 really selling more images than those other sites? please exclude video!

Well I think we needed a thread like this.. here is one of the issues I noticed: see the word "array" right beside the price.. What's that doing in there? it maybe confusing for some customers.. also, I did a test registration and test purchase after upgrading to 2.6.0 and: - confirmation email went to junkmail folder - had to refresh the page after returning from paypal to download the file.. it might be irrelevant but I did many test purchases on 2.5.6 and the need to refresh after purchase, seemed to have gone.. Also, I thought this would have been automatically resolved with 2.6.0 but I continue to get this error since 2.5.6 when I try to process new uploads: Cannot find watermark at location: /cidepix/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock-watermark.png< ... Please check that you entered it correctly in your Settings Area. Default watermark used. this problem came out of nowhere.. everything worked well before with my current settings as you can see I uploaded hundreds of images.. it is a false alarm because in my settings I have a totally valid URL in watermark image section..

- is it a good idea to upload to pond5 if you are already there through 123rf?
- do they remove duplicates or keep both when you upload directly?
- do you recommend uploading directly?

it is a great way to link to everybody on the network.. it provides global search results on our sites and makes it a better option for customers.. http://symbiostock.info/about/as well as linking within our smaller networks, it would be a great idea to allocate a network slot to http://symbiostock.info/let's support our global search engine..

a customer just contacted me saying they can't download the file as jpeg and it comes as html..
What could be causing it? I can see that they used safari browser to contact me... I asked for confirmation of the browser they used and told them to try on other browsers..
They will let me know how that goes..
the reason I started this thread is not to solve my own issue because I can sort it out in many ways..
Rather I want to find out if this is a universal issue on safari browser.. if it is, it should be universally addressed..

surely screwing contributors' royalty rates must have consequences..
there are currently 31867 members on MSG and most of these members have their web pages and blogs or some other sort of web presence with a lot of good, natural backlinks to istockphoto..
I am starting by removing all istock backlinks from my blogs and pages..
Just imagine how much it would hurt them losing all the possible backlinks from 31867 members..
I will also remove backlinks to fotolia, the company that started it first..
I think these agencies don't deserve our backlinks..
Edit: I understand that most contributors can not afford to delete their portfolios, so this is the least we can all do to save our future..
This initiative will definitely not hurt contributors in the long run..

Edit: Title changed.. Reason explained below at posts #6 and #7.. previous title was: Pricing inconsistencies at Envato vol.2: Extended LicensesExtended license prices for photos or vectors are so low at envato, that it is very open to abuse.. but this was probably discussed here before (I have to admit I didn't pay much attention) - what makes their pricing worse is their license terms.. They offer much more than traditional agencies for much less money.. - what makes it even worse is that you can purchase a photo's extended license for $20, incorporate it in a brochure and that brochure's extended license cost $300 now excuse me you pay $20 for an original photo, place it in your flyer, and flyer's extended license is 15 times more expensive hell, the flyer isn't even original it uses a photo which belongs to someone else.. that flyer should not offer an extended license in the first place.. how can someone collect $300 in extended license value for something they don't even own %100? As soon as I discovered this, I disabled extended licenses on my items..
