Hi.
I noticed that when I upload images to Fotolia, and that large previrew when mouse over, it has dull washed colors, but on other sites colors are preserved OK. Did you notice that problem?

Funny thing: since FT introduced subs, I sold maybe 1 EX licence, and I used to sell about 1-2 per month before that. Do buyers think when they buy subscription package that they dont have to buy EX licence separately or something? I cant remember when I sold my last EX licence....

Come on! Everybody talks they are going to delete portfolios, stop uploading... bla bla bla...
And reality is: never more images has been added to SS than last week, LOL. What is next? Every month, 1 more million of images. I think SS should really put some upload limit. Seriosly.

I see a lot of images of objects, food, etc... with "nobody" keyword. I mean, what the...? Why? Do you really think that buyers type "nobody" in search?

OMG! I have just sold 2 images to the same buyer. Funny thing is that those 2 were exactly the same image, but first he bought larger, than smaller size! LOL! This is pure waste of money, he could resize to smaller if he wanted smaller one. But I like those kind of buyers, they make me more money

one rule in particular:
------------ If you are a "US Person" as said term is defined by the IRS, a signed and completed IRS form W9 must be submitted to Shutterstock for Shutterstock to make payments to you. You will receive an email containing instructions on how to download and submit this IRS form to us. A W9 is used to certify under penalties of perjury that your social security number is correct and that you are not subject to backup withholding taxes. Foreign persons might be subject to U.S. income tax on income they receive from U.S. sources. If you are a "Foreign Person" as said term is defined by the IRS, a signed and completed IRS form W8 must be submitted to Shutterstock in order for you to claim a reduced rate of, or exemption from, withholding as a resident of a foreign country with which the United States has an income tax treaty. You will receive an email containing instructions on how to download and submit this IRS form to us. -------------
what does it mean? If I live in Bosnia (europe) do I have to submit those documents or what?

What do you think? Should SS introduce daily upload limit, for example, 15 uploads per day? Or per week.

This is very strange now. I have requested payment (via moneybookers) on 19th December, and it is 7th january and it is still pending. Is it just me or is it present with others? I wrote to support, but they were of no use, replying me this: Thank you for your inquiry.
Electronic payment requests are usually processed within three business days. Check requests are processed at the beginning of each month and the checks are sent out at the middle of the month.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. Thanks!
and I clearly stated that I am waiting payment for 15+ days. I know there was holiday vacations, but now they are over, and I woul like to ask another payment, but I cant before pending one is processed. I contacted StockXpert support again, hope this time they will be more helpful. Does StockXpert have forums of their own?

I just deleted 376 of my old, poor-seling, ugly images. And I plan to delete about 1000+ more tomorow, to clean my portfolio a little bit, so only hi-quality remain. I had 9.100 images online, but after this cleanup I should have about 7000-7500, or so. Do you delete your old, non seling, poorly viewed, ugly images, and how does it impact your sales? I think buyers would easily browse trough my portfolio when there is less junk images

Is it a good idea to clean Hoya Super HMC multicoated UV filter with alcohol napkin (specialy made for optic cleaning)? I have been cleaning my lenses with those, and never have problems. How about multicoated filters?
