VBME (since Feb 2007)

Oct 09 --> Nov 09: +35% !!!

2nd BME (Nov 08) --> Nov 09: +20%

If the figures climb that way for the next 2 years, I have to think about a new yacht, or a golf course. Or maybe both  ;D:

if this keeps going, i`ll be a millionaire (in EURO) in less than 750 years, or just 500 years (USD)  ;D

anyway, submitting was like a walk in the park and every sale is very welcome  :)

Hi Oliver,

or as we say in Bavaria or Salzburg (even if moved to Canada) "Servus, Grias Di!"  ;D  Nice to have another member from "home-turf" here in the community.

Just checked your portfolios and I see some real potential. But I hope youre not dissapointed if I say "there must be some more quantity, to quit the day-job" (the quality is absolutly OK)

I know its a lot more work to do the 3D-thing than illustrations (which is my business) and it took me more than 2 years to make a living out of it. Anyway, you also said youre not in a hurry, so take your time and if I can help in any case (NO 3D-questions please  ;) ) dont hesitate to contact me.

Greetings from Nuernberg (Franconia/Bavaria/Germany/Europe/Planet Earth)

The story is... lets say "necessary" to get the different scenes together, BUT the special effects are spectacular, great, never seen before, amazing etc.

Dont even think abount downloading this movie and watch it on your PC or home TV. THIS has to be seen in a cinema, on a wide screen and absolutely ALL volume controls for the sound system HAVE to be near the "are you nuts" level.

Alternativly wait for the blu-ray, get yourself a 100 inch FULL HD flatscreen, incl. a state-of-the-art sound system and then send your neighbors out of town (or invite them to watch)

Anything else is not nearly half the fun  ;D

Computer Hardware / Re: Single 30" or a pair of 22"?
« on: November 04, 2009, 21:10 »
2 x 22" Samsung displays here and Im really happy with it. Both are around 1.5 years old and I would never ever give away one of it, or work just with one, even if its 30".

As the prices fall like snow, i would get 2 x 24" at a lower price than i paid for the "old ones" (best price now 179 for a Samsung), so my next setup will be 2 x 24". But honestly, a 30" looks pretty impressive, but if you sit in front of it, its like sitting in ROW #1 in an movie theatre. Does anyone really like this feeling? Not me!

And dont forget the cost of a 30incher, no way to get one for less than 1200 . Id rather buy 3-4 24ers and spend the rest on a new, wider, desk  ;D

btw. a 12 year old 21" CRT is standing here next to my desk, weight is approx 35 kilos and you can pick it up here FOR FREE (no assistance provided to carry it to your car - promissed!)  ;D

after uploading 3000 files since yesterday my latest upload failed and no chance to get back on track.

Is it a server problem? can anyone please check if upload works? (just upload one file and delete it again)

Thanks in advance, i still have 2000 files behind and they want to join their friends that are already online  ;D

I just discovered "MostPhoto", submitting there is like "fire & forget".

If the files a properly tagged: FTP-upload ---> a few more clicks and its done  ;D

Hi all,

is there an affiliate program at MostPhotos ? And if yes, who wants to make money by referring me? If upload and submission is easy it could be 5000+ files  ;)

Hope to get a soon reply. No need to let money run down the river  :)

@ hlth: will all my files be tracked for sales, even if they are not submitted with isyndica? Or is it enough, if isyndica knows my site-credentials to get the stats?

And there's something else i didnt find in your FAQ section: If I need additional credits, can I buy them in packages (100, 500 1000, 5000)? Or do I get one credit per cent and can pay for e.g. 274 or 2871?

Thanks in advance

Microstock Services / Re: Refer me to Moneybookers
« on: October 31, 2009, 21:13 »
@ lead: you can register more than one bank account with MB. The first one has to be in your home-country, all others can be spread around the world. Get yourself a bank account in the currency of your MB account and register it. It should work.

If you want your money come to Norway without extra fees, and your MB-account is in EURO, just talk to the norwegian administration and ask them to join the EURO  ;) (just kidding, but give it a try anyway, Id like to travel to Norway some day and I hate currency exchanges)

Payoneer / Re: How to withdraw funds from Payoneer
« on: October 31, 2009, 21:00 »
@ leaf: cash-out to a bank account is no option. ATM or POS is the way to get or spend your money. Spending it on a POS doesnt cost anything (except exchange fees if you dont pay in $)

@ borg: log in to your account at payoneer and you will see the fees they charge

Thanks for the warm welcome  :)

Well, Im not really new to the microstock business and i already made some pretty positive, as well as negative, experiences. And to be honest, I have no idea why I didnt checkout this site before. Maybe I didnt search for it? Who cares, now Im here and Im looking forward to get and give  ;)

As you see in my portfolios (btw, there are a about a dozen more agencies) my priority is in illustrations, but Im thinking to start with video footage in the near future.

I will try to see over the different topics in the next days and start giving my comments. But everyone is invited to send me a personal message with questions or to track me to a special topic. Dont worry, I wont bite  ;)

But first thing I do, is to look for a "cool" avatar  8)

See you later...
