iStock/Getty is the most miserable, the most disrespectful in regard to artists agency. Their commission is a joke.

On Pond5, prior to submitting, the uploader has to mention which clip is editorial into "Notes to curator" field - else gets rejected.

filming in bright sunlight, which camera to buy?
The cheapest one you can buy. I mean it. Expensive cameras and lenses are meant for low light situations. For bright sunlight you can use even your smartphone camera. 10

Uploading to iStock is a huge mistake. You will never see your files again.

I had a similar problem: just delete your browser cookies - all of the esp.getty/istock related - and try again. 17
Dreamstime.com / Re: This is an robbery« on: June 29, 2017, 03:04 »
This is plain robbery as DT could easily manipulate your sales and stuck them right below 100. I had a balance of 98 USD for years and they refused to pay me out. I had to wait a few years to get my money.

General Stock Discussion / Re: is it worth still uploading to istock« on: June 14, 2017, 13:27 »
Getty is the most miserable agency in regards to artist:
- You cannot see your own sales! - You cannot delete your own files! - All of the above++ for only 15%? 20

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Uploading images to istock« on: June 03, 2017, 03:15 »
iStock is the most artist unfriendly agency, it does every possible thing to make artist stop coming and uploading to them but sometimes some artist think uploading there is worth giving a try. No, a definite no to iStock. Uploading there is feeding and keeping alive the beast that eats 85% commission and humiliates the artist in all possible ways. Stop uploading to iStock and let it die!

General Stock Discussion / Re: www.eyeem.com new stock agency that sells a lot !!!« on: May 24, 2017, 00:12 »
Why would anyone want to get into Getty? Just for 10% of 15% that is for 1.5%? Getty is the most disrespectful agency in regard to artists.
Uploading to Getty or offering them content on any way it means feeding that beast. So, no, Getty is not an argument for but against uploading to Eyeem. 24
iStockPhoto.com / Re: No payment from Getty ESP« on: May 20, 2017, 03:23 »
Payment is done in the next month after that in which you reached the minimum payout. Example: if at the end of May your earnings have reached the minimum payout(100 usd) your payment will be processed by the 25th of June.

Shutterstock.com / Re: Count shut down on Shutterstock - PLEASE HELP« on: May 19, 2017, 03:42 »
First of all, you should admit your fault then ask for the account to be reinstated. Also, consider their point of view: how could they be sure that not all your illustrations are copies of others work? The main problem is that you did not accepted your fault from the first message.
Shutterstock is not bad at all, it might reconsider reinstating your account but you must assure them that you are really sorry, that the situation is unique, that it would not happen again. Wish you good luck!
