Hi Matt. I have same problem and I have just sent you an email with my details. Thanks

3
They accepted an image and in the next batch they rejected the vertical version (on tripod same light, same focus, same aperture, same shutter etc.) I can give many similar stupid rejection examples. They rejected the almost whole batch three in a row, even reuploads. Enough is enough. Not uploading for a while  >:(

Weird indeed! It looks like these search results are belong to a porn website rather than a micro stock website.

Also review times change. Before they used to review my batches withing max. two days .i uploaded my last batch five days ago and it is still awaiting validation

I haven't uploaded for a while and have been reading the complaints in both here and SS forum. I decided to give it a go and uploaded 8 photos (all different subjects, different landscapes) and all rejected because of focus issue.

I have about two hundred photos there and i got only one sale in two years. My experience with that site is

1) composite photos especially with aircraft ones are quite popular
2) looks like they favour same artists and photogs
3) if you have not got anything british related (landmark, architecture etc.) don't bother to upload.
4) they have a new web site template, with the old one there was a forum where you can communicate with other photog and artist
5) i guess one person manages the website

8
Does anyone still use this script? Seems like it doesnt work anymore in Chrome with Tempermonkey

As result of Partner program, IS mirrors my images to Thinkstock and GI as you know. I can see my Thinkstock portfolio but GI. The only way to see some of my photos is to google my name and go to GI link. When i do that i get this message on GI "Sorry, we are not able to license media #526504887 due to country, company and/or publication restrictions." and when i click to more from this artist link i get zero results.

Is there a way to see my portfolio on GettyImages?

Typically, it is either Thinkstock or the GI page, not both. Non-exclusive files get mirrored to Thinkstock, selected exclusive files get mirrored to Getty. As a non-exclusive you should not expect your files to be found on the GI page.

However, GI also has an interface for large buyers (it keeps changing names, not sure if it's Getty Connect or Getty 360 or Getty Whatever these days), so those buyers can pick images from all sites within the Getty family from a single interface; those will be reported as GI Sales for non-exclusive contributors. But as long as you don't have access to that platform, you shouldn't be able to license your images that way.

I see. Thanks Michael

General Stock Discussion / Re: Distortion acceptable
« on: February 22, 2015, 07:44 »
Trying to fix that kind of distortion on the computer lowers the image quality and not worth the effort me thinks. Your best bet is to use a prime lens and avoid less than 50mm range.hope that helps

Something fishy going on! since the crash on Thursday my port is like invisible to buyers. just a few subs and that is not normal

If you use it wisely, you can increase traffic to your website. I make sure i post low res of my photos with watermark on them and i post them on Pinterest myself
That's not the problem. The problem is all the pinning with no way of finding the originator other than a reverse GIS.

I agree with that

We're sorry to have rejected the whole of your recent batch, as the majority of it was either duplicates or close similars to images already online. We'd like to believe it was an upload mistake, that's why we cannot afford to allocate our reviewers' time to check the whole corrupted batch in detail. Before uploading your next series, make sure you are not abusing our upload policy. Please note this approach is considered database spamming and can lead to account suspension.

Yeah thats what i got today. My whole batch (about 35 images) was rejected with the same reason. There were a few similar ones but most of them were different subjects. I wont bother to upload next time, waste of time!

Symbiostock - SEO & Marketing / Re: Sitemap generator
« on: June 05, 2014, 09:43 »
Here is my understanding:

The Symbiostock sitemap generator only works on Symbiostock sites (so it won't work on your site if it isn't a Symbiostock site).  It is also an additional cost ($15).

See here for more info:
http://www.symbiostock.com/products-page/upgrades-and-plugins/symbiostock-image-sitemap/

Here are a couple of free sitemap generators:

Thank you, i will check those links

I uploaded one file and deleted two minutes later. it is dead easy to save a non watermarked image from any artist`s gallery. it comes 960 width which is enough for web usage. I know its beta at the moment and i will wait till they fix this
