Adobe Stock / Re: What's your weekly ranking and how many images?« on: March 11, 2024, 09:04 »Hi, I have more than 10k of which about 4k are AI. It's very strange because sales have dropped sharply, as if someone "put me on pause"... I will try to generate new content and not food and see what happens. I don't have many seasonal images. Thanks anyway for your reply. 3

Hi,
I don't know what happened but in the last 10 - 14 days sales have dropped drastically. Is it just me? And my rank has fallen sharply.. 4
General Stock Discussion / Re: Nearly 1,000 fake accounts selling stolen photos discovered.« on: February 22, 2024, 09:58 »
On a simple search I found three thieves using my pictures on Adobe Stock. Two of them have already been blocked.
That's right, it's not a complicated process, I don't understand why these companies don't do the process automatically during reviews. 5
Adobe Stock / Re: 2023 Adobe Stock contributor bonus plan details« on: February 20, 2024, 03:23 »
Hi,
I also have the same problem now, two subscriptions. This is the answer that I received it from the Adobe support: I would like to inform you that would not be possible. The activation code you received is for a different Photography plan which will expire in one year While the plan you had active is to paid monthly was a monthly plan hence extension is not possible that is why a new plan was added So my advice is to activate the code on the last day of your current subscription. 6
General Stock Discussion / Re: Found this on Adobe, wonder how it passed through« on: February 13, 2024, 13:10 »
Hi,
Looking for such cases I came across someone who stole good parts of my portfolio. Do you have any idea where to report it? I quickly searched for something, but found nothing concrete. Thanks! My port: https://stock.adobe.com/ro/contributor/201835714/sebastian-studio?load_type=author&prev_url=detail eg: https://stock.adobe.com/ro/images/pile-of-salt-and-one-salt-shaker/472573264 Thief: https://stock.adobe.com/ro/contributor/211750683/morosanu?load_type=author&prev_url=detail https://stock.adobe.com/ro/images/pile-of-salt-and-one-salt-shaker/667986750 So Adobe Stock's image control and thief tracking is very poor. Thank you! 7

What I have done in January on SS I make in a typical day on AS...
That's how bad the SS got. 9

SS is almost dead! I haven't had a sale for several days.
There is no point in making comparisons between AS and SS... At least in my case there is a huuuge difference. 10

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Getty Images announces AI Generator« on: September 26, 2023, 03:28 »Quote Getty does not write such figures. How much money will be depends on the sales that will happen in the future. But Adobe is not going to pay authors anything from sales at all. Adobe will pay $0. Ok.. 0.02$.. But we cannot know how much we will receive. And if we get $0.02 now... something tells me the amount for using our pictures for AI will be less than $0.02. Maybe I'm wrong, but either way, I've lost interest in sending pictures to such agencies... 12

Same for me. After I reset the password it was ok. 14
Shutterstock.com / Re: Contributor Dashboard down?« on: September 15, 2023, 04:47 »
I don't know, I'm probably wrong, time will tell.. But I don't know why I feel Shutterstock doesn't have long to live.
I wouldn't mind that very much at first. The fact that about 90% of my sales are $0.10 would make me glad to at least not see them anymore. Plus Adobe now brings in substantially more revenue than SS. At this point, if I worked with another agency that brought me the same revenue as Adobe, I'd leave the others without a second thought. On the other hand, if the rest of the agencies "die" Adobe will have no choice but to start with those $0.10 or even less (like iStock for example). We'll see. 15

Image Sleuth / Re: Thief with 35k portfolio (photos) at Freepik« on: June 06, 2023, 07:13 »
I found the same pictures from different authors. It was clear that we were talking about stolen photos. I have notified the Copyright department several times and finally received the following reply:
"Hi If you have images created by yourself that have been illegally published on our site, please let us know. We can not undertake an investigation if it does not come from the images owner. Regards" So it is quite clear that they don't care and even if they know that there are stolen images on their website it is no problem for them. 23

Adobe Stock / Re: Currency change for Adobe Stock account ( to US Dollars )« on: March 10, 2023, 04:04 »
For the last three or four years I have been seeing all sorts of ways for companies to pay us less and less. Now Adobe has found this " door ".
I'm not a very good photographer but over time I've improved the quality of my photos. Not to mention all the money I've invested in equipment. But I did it primarily for pleasure, money always came second. But honestly, in the last few years it actually made me give up the hobby. I'm sick of all the lies and the ways of these "big famous companies" to keep diminishing our income. It's like the world has gone crazy, really. I hear there are companies like BMW that sell you the car and then charge you a subscription if you want seat heating. A few weeks ago I couldn't scan a document at home with the HP multifunctional I have until I signed up for an account with them... I also read a news that Microsoft wants to make Windows 12 available on the Cloud and you have to pay a subscription if you want to have their operating system... Really??? I come from a former communist country and we all thought the West was much fairer than what was on the other side of the iron curtain. As time goes by this difference is diminishing. No wonder more and more extremist parties are popping up. Just my opinion.. Good luck to all! |
