General Stock Discussion / Re: StockAI.com
« on: February 05, 2023, 09:43 »
Let's play a game. I picked some fails from stockai.com and put them together in this attached image. Which one do you find the creepiest?

I am thinking of a Photoshop plugin. But not yet since this a way too big investment for me :(
But remember that Android app can load pictures from dropbox

3
Does Pixendr or any other app add the iPTC directly to the image file or is it just stored in in Pixendr?
Is added to the image file so all the agencies can read it

Hey folks,

i am veeery happy to let you know about the improved Pixendr app for android! For me, the biggest pain in the ass in the submission process was the keywording. Now this is a piece of cake with automatic keywording in Pixendr. Watch this 2 minutes tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JE9Vy-tcF4w or download the app from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr

Oh, if you wonder if using app is safe, you can count on encrypted communication and great security in the app to protect your private data!

Your feedback is highly appreciated!

Since I use Pixendr app for Androidhttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr uploading directly from mobile is more fun and easy and earnings started to fly for me. I currently submit to 10 agencies but Fotolia rejects a lot :(
My best earners for mobile content are by far Shutterstock and Dreamstime.

Yes is safe. If you think they might steal login credentials, you can relax, they don't. At least mine were not stolen for years since I use their app

Hey folks

I am now adding more and more agencies in Pixendr app http://pixendr.com. I would be happy to know where do you submit pictures so I can add them in the app. We are currently working to integrate Alamy and more agencies that suport ftp upload. So, any ideas of agencies?

Newbie Discussion / Re: How many agencies do you use?
« on: January 27, 2016, 09:58 »
With Pixendr app for Android and iOS is now easy to upload at SS, FTL, DST, 123RF, Bigst, Canstock, Pond5, Envato, Depositph. with a single click! I am personally in charge with adding more agencies so if you have a prefference, yes, Pixendr might support it in the future. You don't use Pixendr app? Give it a try:
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pixendr/id972437430?ls=1&mt=8

Thanks for the dropbox explanation unfortunately I'm on an iphone so that's why I wasn't seeing a way to do this. If you can create something that allows me to upload a video once and submit to several agencies via ftp I'm totally onboard :)
Next feature to be added is dropbox on iOS app and ads :( Ads are important otherwise I cannot pay developers to do this anymore. And then we focus on video ;)

11
I will add Alamy soon in Pixendr. iStock is impossible to add since they don't have ftp support. What any other agencies would you like to have added?

12
... you can upload pictures from your smartphone, your Google drive account or Dropbox to your favorite agencies via ftp.

How can I upload pictures from my Dropbox to agencies via ftp using this app? I can't see a way to do this.

Also, will it work for video?

Upload from dropbox works on Android only. If you use Android follow this:
1. Open Pixendr app, tap the "+" button to add a new image. The picture selection screen will appear
2. Tap on the menu icon in the top left (three horizontal lines). A menu will show up and here you can select different sources like Google drive or Dropbox.

This is how it looks on my phone. As about video, not yet. This will probably be a premium feature added later.

Wow, that classic scam-marketing talk. Let me try to rewrite.

Guys, I cannot tell you how happy I am. In January my weight decreased by 20% How is that possible? Well, I was always eating junk food, especially pizza. But now, everything is history. I released a special book for you guys so you can read it at the train, at work, or even in your sleep (it's an audio book!). I also created a secret tool that will give you suggestions what to eat. You can learn how to make 50 fat-free salads in 10 seconds. Dieting in not work anymore, is just fun! And I feel like eating healthy again!

You are totally right :)))  I am totally stupid at marketing, I know how to build products but not how to promote them. The truth is that I started to upload seriously again. And that is a fact nobody can deny. Some ideas to promote the app would be deeply appreciated! Thank you. :)
And please, don't get me wrong, I have no plans to scam anyone. I am implementing ads in the app so, the more users will use it, the bigger chances to keep this service alive.

That's a pretty substantial claim. I looked at your web site but other than a FAQ from last May, there is no information about this keywording tool. You can't be claiming to be a magician, so how can you possibly come up with 50 relevant keywords for an image? Some examples of images and the keywords your tool came up with would be helpful.

The tool is in the app, there is nothing on the website. You need to install an app on your Android phone or iPhone. In order to receive keyword suggestions, you need to add manually 2-3 keywords relevant for your picture (which is not that hard) and then push the button "Suggest keywords" and in  a few seconds bang, you get around 100 keywords. You tap on them to select the ones you want and you are good to go.

Download Android app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr
Download iOS app here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pixendr/id972437430?ls=1&mt=8

Guys, I cannot tell you how happy I am. In January my upload rate increased exponentially How is that possible? Well, I was always bored by this metadata stuff, especially the keywording. But now, everything is history. I released a special app for android users so you can upload pictures from your smartphone, your Google drive account or Dropbox to your favorite agencies via ftp. I also created a secret tool that will give you suggestions for keywording. You can add 50 relevant keywords in 10 seconds. This in not work anymore, is just fun! And I feel like uploading again!
Of course I am planning to make some money of this app, but not planning to sell it. The app will stay free for ever but will have to introduce some ads later (not too annoying, though!). Please help me spread the word about it, download it, play with it, let me know what features you would like in it.

Download it from here
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr
iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pixendr/id972437430?ls=1&mt=8

Please help me keep the app free: share it on social networks and give it a good rating if you like it. Thank you!

General Stock Discussion / Re: Do you enjoy adding meta data?
« on: January 22, 2016, 09:42 »
I just released a few minutes ago the android app for tagging and uploading. I made a test myself and managed to add a title, description and 50 relevand and good selling pictures in 1 minute and 35 seconds.
Submission to 8 agencies in less than 2 minutes? Hell yeah! The picture is automatically uploaded to SS, FTL, DST, 123RF major agencies but every agency that supports ftp will be added soon. You can download it from here. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.pixendr
Please help me with a good rating to keep this app for free. There might be some crashes from time to time but I am working on it. Have fun uploading. I do!

There is a new keywording tool included in Pixendr app for android. Since it is in beta, you can test it from here https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.app.pixendr
Is fully functional, support upload of pictures from dropbox to 8 agencies at once. And the best of all, is free!

20
I would use my own app Pixendr which is free. I was trying to set a price for it but other companies in the past had to close their business because photographers are not willing to pay for such services. I wouldn't start such a business unless you can do it for ads only

Shooting a picture was always fun for me. But the submission process (keywording, adding title, description, uploading with various apps and so on) was a painful experience. Probably that's why people don't realy do it mobile. So, I fixed it!
I built Pixendr app, primarly as a tool for myself. I love to make pictures with my Galaxy S6. It has an amazing camera and you can make stunning pictures. Some examples here https://goo.gl/photos/S4CooXzyQHycd9R78
For this app I need your help. It works excellent on my Samsung but it might be not so good on other devices. If you would like to join and help me with testing it would be great.
What you can do with Pixendr app:
-select pictures from camera roll/device gallery
-add title, description
-add keywords (receive keywords suggestions and easy add them to the image)
-upload via ftp to your accounts at Shutterstock, Fotolia, Dreamstime, Bigstock, Pond5, 123RF, Depositphotos, Canstock with a single tap! (more to come)

If you want to improve it, or have your request for specific features, post here! And please, help me test the app. You can do it here http://pixendr.com/index.php/our-blog/35-join-android-beta-testing

Mobile Stock Photogrpahy - General Discussion / Pixendr on Android
« on: September 30, 2015, 06:16 »
For those of you who don't know, Pixendr is an iPhone app that submits a picture to several agencies at once via FTP with minimum effort. I am planning to build and Android app but I am curious if any of you would be interested to use it and/or join the beta group. If yes, leave a comment here or fill in the form on our website.http://pixendr.com/index.php/our-blog/27-become-a-beta-tester

I think it would be great to share each others about the apps we use for stock. Best apps for shooting / editing submit and so on.

My personal workflow (on Android) is shooting with system camera app, edit in snapseed, resize with Photo Editor (best options for resizing task) and upload with Shutterstock and maybe some other stock apps. How about you?

Istock does not accept ftp upload. We will probably add it later with some Web upload procedure.
