I don't think it's of major importance, they are just making sure that, being a commercial photo, you have all the model or property rights because they are going to launch an advertising campaign with it and they don't want any problems with anyone afterwards. They must have had some previous bad experience with a photo that had false model or property releases.

Same here

"Starting on September 1st, well be rolling out new minimum pricing requirements by category and license type. All affected shops will be notified via email 2 days before the change takes place.

For existing products, we will be automatically changing the price on any products that are priced below the new minimum price for their category and license type. For all new products, minimum price requirements will change starting September 1st. "

As far as I know at the moment we don't know those minimum prices, but I guess it will affect mainly the rest of the products: fonts, templates, web themes, etc.

# Yes, indeed, Eyeem direct sales are great, but the problem is that nobody knows when they are distributed, one month everyone is happy because it is time to distribute, but after that, until 2, 3 or maybe 4 months later, you never know, they are not distributed again. This is not serious. #

Can you please explain it? I did not get it yet.

Do you mean: 1 month / First month is good for selling or for customers could find out work. But than later our images will get lost somewhere? Might be little bit similar with Adobes first month  important for ranking?

No, nothing to do with the rankings in Adobe. I will try to explain it better. You never know when there will be a distribution of sales at the Eyeem Market. With the sales through Getty Partner the distribution is during the last days of the month, sometimes more and sometimes less, but the direct sales at the Eyeem Market are distributed in the middle of the month, but not every month, just a few months along the year, it is not a question of rankings or a bad month for a specific contributor, this is for everybody, Ive talk about it with others contributors, it is quite strange. For example one year they pay on June, July and November, but the next year is different.

A couple of years ago you could get three-figure sales, but this is just a sample of what I was getting before I got kicked out of Getty due to the duplication of photos with Istock:

Alamy.com / Re: Anyone still getting big sales on Alamy?
« on: November 22, 2020, 03:32 »
Define "big sale", bigger than $50/100/1000? Ive got a $120 last month ($48 net), but my sales are mostly below $20

They don't care what a small group of photographers do, there will still be millions of photos and the buyers will continue. For business is perfect, margins are going up and they still have room to lower subscription prices. At this moment, stocks are up about 6% since the announcement. Just my opinion.

I didn't get them either

Keywording is bad, they don't even pay attention to the notes I put to the reviewer about the location

Yes, same here, sold as "single & other"  >:(

Yesterday I had one rejected to: "Model release not valid", I checked it and it was OK, so I submited it again and was accepted. Random behavior of curators one more time.

I have something like a 75% success rate on 2nd re-submissions without any changes whatsoever.

That was what I did. A couple of days ago I got 100% rejected for noise (first time since 4 years ago), I checked them 100% and there was no noise, so I sent them again and got 100% accepted  ???

ILLUSTRATIVE EDITORIAL
It was described in other posts, here is a adobe link:

More details can be read here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/illustrative-editorial-content.html

Thank you, I had already read it, and I know what it means in general terms: brands, signs, without recognizable people, ... but I still have doubts about buildings with property rights, for example: Empire Estate Building or any Norman Foster buildings,  could they be Illustrative Editorial?

Thanks

Hi Mat.

One question to clarify me illustrative editorial content: a building with property rights (for example any modern architecture building) but without signs, is illustrative editorial?

Thank you

My first sale on Alamy was in 2016 $125 for my pocket, one of my last sales was $0,65. The problem is not only the cut 50% to 40%
