Alamy.com / Re: New to Alamy? Read this! :-)
« on: March 09, 2016, 08:47 »
I would like to give a try with Alamy, but I have 400+ files with "ZERO" sell since May 2015 untile now in Alamy, I do have same quantity with other agencies at sametime, and they all sell good, so now I have no idea what's going on with my file in Alamy?

should I keep uploading to Alamy and give it a try?

as you can see it still "Zero" Sell since May 2015

4. as a full time how many images can you uploading per month? I recommend at least 400~800 images per month<= this is my own reference, so keep uploading

this is my recommend, maybe not hlepful, but it is all true!!!

Isn't this a little excessive? Do you have a day job other than stock?

I don't have any day job, but I do shoot wedding and Commercial photography too~!
sorry I mean " as a full time Stock photographer"

Adobe Stock / Re: vector declined - too similar
« on: September 13, 2015, 18:56 »
I got so many time declined of too similar image, what I do is keep shooting and uploading new image!!!

the following info is what I received when a file declined:

Some subjects have already been covered sufficiently by contributors and are satisfactorily represented in our database.
For these subjects, new images must bring something completely new compared to the images already online in order to be accepted.

When similar photographs are submitted, we will only approve files that meet technical or aesthetic requirements, and match the selected category.

For an image series, please submit photographs that are different enough to allow different applications.
For example, the same model in different situations or with different expressions; or for illustrations, the same design must be provided with different symbols.

For similar subjects with different colours, please limit the variants to 6 colours.

If you selected the free option during the upload process, Fotolia will inform you if your photo has been integrated to into this section.

Shutterstock.com / Re: New images hardly sell
« on: August 14, 2015, 08:51 »
I've had the opposite results lately -- usually my images take awhile to get downloads, but lately both my se asia and seattle/rainier images have been generating sales when uploaded - I've given up trying to figure it out, just keep producing & uploading

Im  with you, be positive "just keep producing and uploading"

General Stock Discussion / Re: Here we go: 500px eroding prices
« on: August 14, 2015, 04:04 »
I think the biggest issue is all about watermark  for me!!!

I agree ! I don't know why they don't resolve this problem.  :-\

I think they would like to keep the image look good, but they still can't find the balance between Image protection and visual, Im still wait and see!!!

« on: November 21, 2007, 14:52 »
That's ture, I don't have any problem with this!

ex: tower bridge with blue sky background => tower bridge with blue sky background in London

pole with blue sky background => a pole with clean blue sky background

I think it is very easy to reach 7 words~!......lol

by the way I don't like BS, bad review time, website design badly (ugly)
bad sell, if crestock improve their review time, will be next one to replace
BS to be Big6 .........................I think

25
omg that was very close~!

I think, I better to change my password right now!

best way to do I think is change the password every 3~6 monthes.

good luck guys!
