Does anybody (Mat?) know if there will be an Adobe Stock contributor bonus program for 2023?

Hello, after EyeEm declared insolvency some days ago I sent a press inquiry to Getty Images on what happens with the EyeEm Collection at Getty Images. They confirmed that they terminated the contract with EyeEm and that they are in the process of deleting the images in the EyeEm Collection. You can read my blog article (in German) here, the statement from Getty Images is in English: https://www.alltageinesfotoproduzenten.de/2023/04/14/getty-images-kuendigt-vertrag-mit-eyeem/

Hello,
yesterday I received a single download (pay-as-you-go-licence, size S) for 520 USD.
Some other photographers reported similar high single downloads (480 USD, 540 USD, 271 USD).
It's a bit strange, because I opted out of all partner sales and ELs there.
Does anyone have more information about this?
I sent an email to 123rf, maybe they can provide more info...
Best regards, Robert

After being quiet for quite a while, Yuri breaks his silence evaluating Adobe Stock: http://arcurs.com/2015/10/a-closer-look-at-adobe-stock/My favorite part is in the conclusion where he complains about the "mediocre" quality of images at Fotolia and Shutterstock. :-) What are your thoughts?

Hello,
I was just made aware of a site called "Resimstock.com" which offers thousands of images.
It seems to be shady, because the photo author is not mentioned, instead it says "Owner: Resimstock" and they sell the images with an Extended Licence.
I found several of my images, for example: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/2392/Health,-Care,-Doctor,-People,-Hospital.html
from Kurhan: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/821/Business,-I%C5%9F,-Call-Center,-%C3%87a%C4%9Fr%C4%B1-Merkezi.html
from ArtFamily: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/1858/Others.html
Minerva Studio: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/540/Business,-I%C5%9F.html
WavebreakMediaMicro: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/2464/Technic,-technology.html
Lev Dolgachov / Syda Productions: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/1406/smiling-couple-having-fun-in-park.html
Peshkova: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/665/Business,-I%C5%9F.html
Monkey Business: http:/ /resimstock.com/photo/17/Group-Of-Friends-Standing-By-Car-On-Coastal-Road-At-Sunset.html
and many many more. (links not clickable on purpose)
Does anybody know more about the site?
What would be the best way to find out or get the images removed?
Thanks in advance, Robert Kneschke

Hello, I did some research and found out that 123rf is also selling our images at their parent company Inmagine, even if "API partner sales" have been disabled. After selling the image at Inmagine, first Inmagine takes a 40-50% royalty cut, before the "usual" royalty split at 123rf takes place. For me it does not make sense, because both agencies belong to the same company. The difference between the 40-50% comes from the currency exchange. If a customer pays for example 10 USD for an image, the royalty split of Inmagine is 40%, but if a customer pays 10 Euro, Inmagine calculates with 10 USD, which in effect would lead to about 50% royalty cut. I published more details in my blog in German: http://www.alltageinesfotoproduzenten.de/2014/10/30/123rf-ernennt-mutterfirma-zur-partneragentur/Sorry, I don't have the time to translate the entire article. if anyboday wants to add details from the article here, please feel free to do so. Best regards, Robert

Hi, I just stumbled across this guy who has more than 5.000 (!) stock images in his Flickr portfolio: https://www.flickr.com/photos/hlarreac/
Just after some seconds I found at least 3 of mine. The images can be downloaded with a pixelsize up to 1600 Pixel. I think it might be a good idea to send out some DMCA notices to Flickr to get that account closed? DMCA formular: https://info.yahoo.com/copyright/us/details.htmlWho wants to join? I just sent mine in.

I uploaded several clips (about 70) via FTP to Clipcanvas over the last weeks, but none of them have appeared at the site to edit them for publishing.
I also sent a support mail on Wednesday, but got no answer yet.
Somehow I have the feeling that the site is preparing to shut down about six month after the royalty cut.
Do you experience similar problems?
Best regards, Robert

Hello,
I am currently looking for a way to buy or rent props and clothings that are typically used in movies, like garderobe sorted by era and the like.
When I am doing a google search, only websites that are popping up try to sell me way overpriced movie props that have been used in REAL hollywood movies (pair of glasses worn by John Malchovic for 599 $ and the like).
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks, Robert

The easiest way to destroy Shutterstock?
1. Lift upload limit at iStockphoto [check] 2. Transfer the images to Thinkstock [processing] 3. Lower subscription prices at Thinkstock. Done.

Fotolia introduced a new standard relevancy search on Wednesday. That led to a massive fall of income to many German top contributors (including myself). Fotolia decided to temporarily switch back to the old relevance search in Germany.
But since there seems no sign of such an income drop for contributors from other countries, I want to ask:
Have you experienced a change at your Fotolia earnings and downloads since Wednesday?
If you, in what direction?
Thanks, Robert

Hello, I have published on my blog a small tool that lets you estimate you long it will take you to reach the next ranking level at Fotolia. Check out my free Fotolia Ranking Calculator here: http://www.alltageinesfotoproduzenten.de/free-downloads/fotolia-ranking-calculator/You can switch the interface language too, if you prefer German or French. How long will it take you to reach the next level?Best regards, Robert
