Guys, I passed QC on Alamy. I opened account in febryary, but I never tried to submit my 4 images. I thought they are not good enough. Yesterday I did it and today I am at Alamy  But I am totally stucked to licences and keywording system  I hope I will manage.

I remember that here, on this forum, someone said that microstock business will start having technical problems because todays servers can't support extremely large databases as in microstock business. Is this already happening? Seem that most big agencies have some problems...

Guys, I can't use Paypal and I can't use Moneybookers anymore. Is there any other option except checks? Maybe some other money transfer agency?

I had 4 jpg files in pending state. They were maid for future vectors, and they were in pending state few days. This morning, I noticed that thumbnails for those files disappeared. Files are still in pending state, but thumbnails are invisible. There is only small red x sign instead of thimbnail. Can someone please tell me what happened?

Guys, I need some help on Illustrator. The question is simple, and I think I know the answer, but again, I want someone of you to confirm me. I got rejection type: "your file contains both RGB and CMYK color profiles. Convert to RGB or CMYK and submit again"
My document is set up to CMYK, and I didn't notice I made any object using RGB color profile. I think I can convert my document to CMYK by going to: File/document color profile/CMYK...or something like that, but when I do that I don't see any change in colors, so I guess I didn't "go out" from CMYK space and because of that, I am not sure if I did something or not. Also, I have some grouped object in my illustration. Do I have to ungroup them all to do it? When I ungroup them all, and if I click on any object looks like everything is CMYK, because all sliders that show me color of the fill are CMYK. PLease help me. I am new in all this.

When I upload my SVG file, size 277kb, I get this message in the end "fall.svg Unable to upload file". When I upload it using flash plugin the process goes normally, and file is uploaded, but it doesn't appear in my files. The same with ftp. I already have few svg files uploaded, but I never had this problem. What I did wrong?

I would like to know what you guys think about adding a shadow to isolated objects in PS. What reviewers like more, isolated objects with light shadow or isolated objects without it? And do designer really like more objects with shadow? I am asking this because I usually make images of isolated objects without shadow, but I think I saw somewhere, in some thread which I can't find anymore, that designers buy more isolated objects images with shadow because they are more useful. So, I don't know what to do....to add shadow, or not to add shadow If I were a designer, I would personally buy more images without it, because I could place objects from image on any other surface, and apply any kind of shadow from any angle... What you think? What should I do? Help! I am working on this image 2 hours already and I can't decide

Today, all (eight, and maybe ninth will be the same) my rejections on fotolia were type: "Your photograph did not reach our desired level of aesthetic quality." So, I am asking my self, are my photos really so ugly, or maybe this is some new reviewer, or he has only one button for rejection, he's right and other reviewers on other sites don't know what is good photo, or it's maybe something else?

I have Nikon D80 and I noticed that my images look different when I convert them into TIFF in Capture NX than in PS Camera RAW. Colors look more natural in CNX. Also, images look a bit sharper and less yellow than in PS Camera RAW. But, in the same time, I know PS Camera RAW in details, which I can't tell for CNX. So, the only thing I don't like about PS Camera RAW is the way he renders Nikon NEF images. Does someone knows some specific settings in PS Camera RAW to make images look like they are rendered in CNX?

Photostock plus was the first site I join but I didn't know it isn't free. Actually, as I understood, you have to pay some 50$ per year to upload pictures there (maybe the amount isn't correct, but I know it wasn't some big money). So, I decided not to do that because I found free agencies...
But, photostock plus is sending me emails all the time, almost every few days I get some mail from them. Does anyone have experience with them? How is it possible that they are in business when there are so many free agencies and some of them are really huge. I mean, I know there is a place for everyone in this market, but again... They have so aggressive marketing campaign like they are best in this business....

I just saw that I sold several images from sptembet 10th 'till now. For some reason I didn't see it earlier in my earnings log. But, it's nice when you see several dl's at once

Yesterday I earned 5$ from my referrals on 123RF. Some of them probably sold an EL that day because I never earned so much in one day from referrals.

I noticed something unusual with my lately uploaded images on IS. Actually, when they get accepted, and I check it after few hours, they all have some 20-30 views, like they were online few days already. After it, number of views increases normally. Maybe IS changed their search algorithm and it shows new images first?
Did someone of you guys noticed this?

Does someone can write all main stock sites where keywords order is important for searching images? For example, I am submitting the same images on 9 sites, and I noticed that if I have "sand" and "heart" in my keywords, and if those words are in the end of keywords list, and if I type that in search form, in some sites I can't find my image, and on some sites I can find it easily.
If I am right, FT and StockXpert have that system. If you put important keywords in the end of the list, you will never find your image using search

Hello,
I just received my new tablet. It's Aiptek Hyper Pen 8000U PRO. I installed it, and it worked properly few minutes, but after it something strange happened. It doesn't "see" the pen anymore. When I put the mouse on it, green LED is constantly lit, which means the tablet recognizes the mouse. But when I put the pen on a table, green LED is flashing like I didn't put it there. The pen simply doesn't work anymore. The mouse is working properly. I tried to reinstall drivers, to reinstall manager program, but the pen still doesn't work. What should I do? Is it possible that I have to replace the pen after few minutes of working?

Two of my photos are on the main page of mostphotos in scrolling bar on the bottom of a page. A girl in the front of waterfall, and a butterfly I was pretty surprised when I saw it today Thank you Mostphotos!
