Has it started yet? I just saw a 0.72$ increase which is apparently the balance of one of the sales under the new sub packs.
I still didn't get where i could check which sale this balance accounts for..

For me fotolia has always come in cycles: 20 downloads in 2 days and then nothing for a couple of days, or weeks.
Which of course makes me think about their search engine.
Since late September I'm also experiencing these weird waves of many sales/no sales, every time I get inspired and optimistic when sales start to pop in but then the drought comes back. I also feel the same search engine issues with SS since October, very uneven. What I like about FT is their steady credit sales (always about 20-25% of all downloads for me), as well as some of their subs at a nice price. Overall they keep improving indeed!

I feel like my portfolio has suddenly gone invisible, only 2-3 of my bestsellers are still selling, the rest of the photos - no more, not even those that generated good steady sales over the last months..

I uploaded a new big bunch of images last month and they were selling very well until the 1st October. This month I suddenly have days with no sales and almost all sales are very old images.
I think they are rotating the content and they arrived at the point where the rotation is back to my old content which was of course lower quality because I was a beginner back then.
I felt the effect too, looking at my stats sales suddenly slowed down on October 3rd - 1 sale for the whole weekend - and then I also had one Wednesday without a single sale which is really weird coz Tue to Thur were always the best days, this last weekend was slow too

I stop submitting on Thursday evening and start again Saturday night or Sunday morning. smaller batches might also help.
Tip duly noted and appreciated I'm having a severely injured batch I submitted on Friday (9 out of 10 rejected), will resubmit on Monday to check if the magic really works!

Could it be that all this spam activity affected the weekend sales? I had my worst weekend in a long time, in fact zero sales on Sunday which I thought is not possible anymore..

It would be much better if you'd add the possibility, to add keywords after the images were already appoved.
My thoughts exactly, we need to be able to add/remove keywords after the photos have been approved!!

I recommend Pond5. Doesn't sell often, but you get 50% of the price you set. If you do travel, I also recommend Alamy.
Interesting, so Alamy is recommended for the travel photos? I'm only selling travel photos, having ports with Big 4, just started a new port with Bigstock and thinking of adding another agency or two.. Gotta try Alamy then.

Yes, my sales did stop. But it apparently didn't stop for everyone - my weekly ranking by about 3000!
Already quite a few people reporting the decline, so must be some changes to the search engine or something similar that affects some of the portfolios. Still September will be my best month ever due to the rise in sales in the first 2 weeks, sad the trend kinda stopped for me this past week Full of hopes it will pick up again

Hi there, Has anyone noticed a sudden drop in sales starting from last Thursday or so (Sept 17), I thought maybe the end of the week was unusually slow, but nothing changed after the new week started.. The first half of September was real good at sales and then suddenly such a decline.. Or is it just me?

Had my first EL ever a few days ago (started uploading to SS in April) and I liked how it felt kinda want more of these! sad to hear that Els are going downhill:( Actually had my second EL right after but with IS, yeah definately want more

I also noticed that recently most of the sales have been coming from the older files and new ones needed to hang in there for a while to start selling, beginning this August. Even back in July i had instant sales with the freshly approved content.

I've just contacted their support through email, thought that if it is was a bug they would correct it manually or something - no, I got a non-sense response, kinda automated one It is the 5th agency I'm uploading to, and now I don't understand whether it makes sense to continue with uploads.. And those photos that were approved but never showed up - should I re-upload them to have them in my port or they will show up eventually, like in a year

Hello,
Just started uploading to Bigstock, had my first submission of 10 photos approved about 10 days ago (got an email saying so), however they never showed up in my portfolio, it is just empty.
If there is anyone from Bigstock team looking at my message - my user name on Bigstock is lana_byko.
