Maybe this has been discussed before...
I have a handful of images that I hired another illustrator to create. They were never used for their intended purpose, but I do own the rights to these images.
Am I allowed to sell them as stock if I wasn't the actual creator?

Discovered a bunch of my work available for sale at CarStickers.com - and they also offer the ability to search Shutterstock and have a sticker printed of any Shutterstock vector. Decided to test it out. Ordered a sticker of one of my works that they offer and one from Shutterstock that never sells. Just got the confirmation that my order has shipped, and guess what... no indication of any sale of either file on Shutterstock. https://www.carstickers.com/shutterstock/search/

Looking on the homepage at Adobe Stock (see attachment), Adobe appears to be encouraging creating a brand identity from stock vectors. Additionally I can't seem to find anywhere in the license agreement that says they cannot be used as logos or brand identities. Is this a recent change?
If someone can download my vector from Adobe and legally use them as their business logo, I'm going to have to shut my account down. That is insane.

Just curious if anyone else is still using the OG version of Symbiostock and if you have updated WordPress?
I'd hate to update Wordpress and blow up my site, which is still pulling in revenue.
Thanks!

I had 40-50 images that were exclusive to Fotolia. I did this as an experiment to see how exclusivity worked with image search rankings and Google image search visibility.
When uploading to Adobe Stock, I don't see any way to indicate an exclusive image. Is it safe to now upload those previously exclusive images to other agencies?

I'm usually paid by the 7th of the month but still haven't received my February payment.
Just curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same situation?

My sales at 123RF have been on the decline for a couple of years, but in the past couple months its fallen off to new lows. Over an 80% drop in December of 2017 over December of 2016.
As a test, I uploaded some exclusive files to 123RF in early December and those images are still not indexed on Google Images.
I do believe that many buyers use Google Images to search and find images. Maybe a change in Google's algorithm? Images that I uploaded to other agencies were indexed by Google within days.

Just clicked onto one of my images today that was only uploaded as a vector file and see that the customer is now being given the option to download as a JPG as well.

Maybe this isn't a new thing, but I used to be able to download my own images from 123RF. I just tried this morning and it doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone confirm this?

It appears that Fotolia has increased pricing on vector files to 6 credit, which while still too low IMO, it is nice to see a little raise!

I'm assuming they are partnered with one of the stock agencies, but who? Thanks!

Interesting new image page layout.
Some details removed (including number of sales), and 4 rows of "similar" image thumbnails added.
I wish they'd do one of row of similar images from the same artist, just like on SS.

I need some guidance on how to get started with the new and improved networking.
Is there a guide posted somewhere?
At one point I had chosen 5 sites to include in my network and then I was sidetracked with some other work. Now that I'm able to give my SY site some attention, I'm lost in symbiocards and csv files. It's probably simple, but frankly... as my 9 year old would say... "I don't get it".

Last month the standard SOD download was bringing me a commission of $5.70, this month the standard seems to have dropped to $4.35.
Anyone else seeing the same?
Is SS offering special pricing this month?

I have seen a big drop in traffic this month, and in turn, a drop in sales.
I haven't spent much time working on my site lately as I have been very busy with other projects. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced similar results?

Contacted by a customer who is trying to browse a category of mine that has 118 images. He is only able to view two images per page in the category.
Customer provided screen shot (uploaded below).
I can't duplicate the issue on my end.

3 sales so far this week, which makes 5 total for me.
If are thinking about starting a site, do it. It works.
This is just the beginning.
Leo has developed a fantastic product.

Just had a sale and got a message from the customer that he was having issues with the download. He sent me this error message:
The download routine is not working ... Get this message when I try to deal with the file: Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::resize() in /home/stompsto/public_html/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/inc/classes/image-processor/symbiostock_file_download.php on line 69

Subscriptions at BigStock have clearly started to gain in popularity based on my numbers.
Although there is half a day left in April, I'm finding my sales numbers to be somewhat interesting and I thought I'd share what I'm seeing.
Subscriptions officially launched in February I believe, and I saw sub sales increasing through March which was by BME at BS.
My April numbers show a 96% increase in files sold over March (previous BME) - Revenue was up 52% over March (previous BME).
Obviously, I'm selling more for less on the new sub model.
Now, since I am on "the Bridge", my sub sales are at $.38 each. If I understand correctly, after six months, my sub sales will go down to $.27 each. If I adjust my April sales number to reflect a $.27 sub sale, my revenue increase for April would drop to 32% over March.

For the life of me I cant find where to turn off commenting on my pages.
Isn't that something that I can do on a page-by-page basis?
admin edit: edited subject of thread to be more descriptive

Just had my first sale! Might be the best $7 sale I've ever had. One question... The transaction came through with the image number, how can I easily figure out which image sold?
