Title: Sell Media?
Post by: Uncle Pete on December 13, 2013, 01:11
WordPress theme, it's free and of course all the things that make it functional will cost you a little. But reading about it, it looks well thought out and functionally working? I don't know about all the many features, all I'd want is a site with a search that works and a cart that takes money.  :)

Sell Media is the free version, the rest add up fast.

But question is, are these just very good promotional pages or does it really work? Looks like ten photo themes and over 40 WP themes for images.

Anyone using it?

I think Paulie Walnuts setup a site with this plugin.  We had a thread about it just around the time Leo introduced Symbiostock.

I still think Symbiostock is the ultimate answer for a number of reasons, but the networking and shared searches is the killer. Hopefully by the end of 2014 there will be 360 operating Symbiostock sites.

While I was searching WP plugins and things for my test site, this one jumped out at me. That's why I wondered if anyone had tried it?

I tried to set up a site through Graph Paper Press last year mostly because I absolutely love the look of Gavin Gough's website via Photoshelter and GPP's integration with it.  My experience was absolutely horrible - I never got the site to work, they charged me twice for the site, etc., etc.

To their favor, they refunded all money and apologized....and I appreciate that, but I have NEVER had more problems or frustrations attempting to set up a website.  I ended up finding a different solution (that doesn't currently support video).

Your experience may be better...
