Anyone here have $1000 images on shutterstock yet?  ... that is to say an image that has sold around 4000X

My closest one is only just over $200.. I have a while to wait i think.

Oh, I do.  Only $890 to go.... one has reached $110.   Cheesy  Interesting to see it has earned $102 at IS, almost the same.  (None of the others earn equally).

If there are $1000 images on ss, maybe there are non, then there are no more then 10-15 I guess.  I have one at place 29 of the most popular and I am a few $ away from $700. To have $1000 images on Istock is much more likely than on SS. Thats one more reason why iS is a much better long term investment.

$1000 on SS alone? That's a very tall order - I think you're doing very well if you can manage $100 for a single image. I was going to say that the only regular member I think might have a shot at it is freezingpics, but even he isn't close.

My best on SS is only 1/4 of the way there - I'm doing much better at IS in this regard.

I've got 2 that are close to 400$ at  ss and one of them is at over 600$ at IS and the other about 150$.  The total of one of them at the 2 sites is 1035$ does that count? Smiley

I thought that you might be getting close, fotografer - I was a bit surprised not to see anything of yours in the 'Top 50' list when I checked it before making my post. You must occupy numbers 51 and 52!

It would be interesting to know which site has earned the most money for a single image.

I think for me Shutterstock actually has earned the most.  Istock has only earned $86 or so for the best image there.  Dreamstime top image is around $200 - prettty close to shutterstock

Wow, leaf, your IS portfolio is vastly underperforming - you should strongly consider reloading your best images now that you've got the keywording all figured out.

My best earner is the same on SS and IS. On SS it has 345 dls and have earned $103.5; on IS 641 dls and $707.37. I think vectors are more appreciated on IS.

Last year I was doing great on IS but the last 6 months have been terrible. I'm doing a 1/2 to a 1/3 of what I was doing this time last year when I was even toying with going exclusive when I reached diamond. Maybe leaf is seeing the same.

  Smiley Smiley Smiley
I think I must be very close by numbers that people have given out on the forums but of course as I sell more so do they so it's very hard to catch up.

i'm feelin lucky - i have one image that is over $200 and one over $150 Smiley

as long as those images stay in the front of the 'most popular' for their keywords, i'll be in good shape Smiley

In SS I think that I will need a few years to make that, my best images have 1082 downloads or $345,90

In IS my best image have 1326 downloads or $1279,93.

Only today i saw that I already pass the $1000.00 barrier.
