looks nice, i like it, love the map with city names now

but i dont grap why they cant fix this thing, you still cant filter on number of downloads

at least ss is thinking of us, canva is just still rubbish, even after 3 years, their dashboard is atrocious.

Dumc, they added that now, no need for a script

I'd like to filter on downloads and have the ability to set what time frame I get displayed, i.e., it defaults to lifetime earnings and I'd rather set it to monthly without having to click on another link.

You still can't arrange photos by dl number or date uploaded. This is real disadvantage in my opinion. And map is to small for me.

That's true, what I liked about that script was, that it was automaticaly refreshing map and reporting sales on the left side of the page. You didn't have to refresh whole page.

I haven't had enough time to see where everything is. The location data is interesting, but presumably just based on the IP so not necessarily accurate.

I will miss the 2 years of weekly income even if that showed how much my income is down. The sales from new images was a bit unclear exactly what it showed, but that data is gone now.

If I had more video sales I would appreciate the separation of some of that reporting.

In general the page looks more crowded to me but there is less data actually available (they show more stuff on the page now, but most of that is visible elsewhere). I wish more of the columns were sortable in the sales reports.

I expect I'll get used to it eventually, although it does seem like a step backwards in a number of ways - less info available now and more clicks to get at what I really want to see (what images sold on any given day).

I'm only a video contributor there, so from my POV, if they had to change it, I wish they could have given more data about video sales.

You've always had to guess as to what kind of sale you've had. Often it isn't a problem, but sometimes it definitely can be (4K vs HD Prem, HD vs SD, SD vs Lores).

Also, if the same clip sells more than once in a day in the same manner (pack or cart), there is absolutely no breakdown of sales. You simply see the total number of sales and earnings.  :o

Unfortunately, neither of these things were changed in any way.  >:(

I don't think this new earning table was meant to improve your sales. Thats up to you with better and more images. The earning table is meant for better overview of earnings.

It should be to give better information to help improve income by enabling you to focus on what sells ie what is "better" tbh I don't think the new one is any better of worse than the old one in that respect.

Let's just hope all these changes explain (on contribs and buyers sites) the very low sales of january and this beginning february...

For contributor page, I would have put the worldmap on top of page, because it shows visually quickly (even when you're away from screen) how sales are doing. Apart from that, nothing to say compared to istock/getty crap stuffs

This may be a dumb question, but how do I go directly from the new dashboard to my port?  There used to be a link on the old dashboard, but I don't see anything now.

And yet another site with that 'buzzword' 'discoverability'! Here, it seems to mean a photo.

The world's gone mad....!

(And PS no I don't like the new setup. Useless info is writ large, useful stuff tiny or not there. Herrumph!)

Actually the world map is much better...its vectorial now, just zoom with ctrl+ or command+ if you want it bigger.
Plus the pics don't disappear anymore and that was really annoying  8)

The new design doesn't worry me - I'll get used to it. What does worry me is, that I've 'lost' several hundred downloads for at least one of my Top Performers in the new DL Statistic. I hope, it's only that single one, but that one is quite obvious. I received my royalties overt the years, though, just wondering, if the lower incorrect amount will have any negative consequences in search results?!

The only thing that really interests me is the stats page, and I find this one less intuitive than the last.  But I can live with it.  The smaller amounts, not so much.   ;)

It would be interesting to know who created idea of that board. How can they decide to put total earned amount on the top with mega letters.  ;) Who cares about it! Such important information as just downloaded content or daily downloaded is not visible! Creators are not contributors for sure. From my opinion that new board is horrible as main board.

Map is too small, it should be on the first page (on the top of it, not somewhere on the bottom). Also country and city information changes so fast that it is unusable. Daily downloaded content information should be shown.

It could be that now they separate out all the different types of sales (EL, SOD, OD, etc) where before they were all lumped together (I think).

I had a script where all latest downloads appreared on the screen in the list (with country and city information). It was soooo usable and interesting! I saw latest download very fast,  before it apperaed on the map. This is the main information i would like to see on the board instead of total earnings in my life....

You mean this page. https://submit.shutterstock.com/earnings/top-performers?language=en I see all my downloads total by earnings. What would hurt search when we don't know what makes popular popular. I mean how would we know what buyers see or why?

Seems that just zooms the whole page.
Or am I missing something?

The more I see that new page the less I like it. All this dross being shoved LARGE in my face - profile, other pics, lifetime earnings etc - but what I want is not obvious or not there.

Seems related to that Windows version where you have to wade through zillions of (presumably affiliated) icon boxes for games, social media you don't have/want, programmes you've never heard of and news feeds from the US etc to finally locate (if you are lucky) your document/saved photo.

Herrumph!

My cunning solution is to add the link the earnings summary page to my favorites so as long as I'm logged in I can go straight to the thing I'm most interested in!

Map is too small, it should be on the first page (on the top of it, not somewhere on the bottom).

Modern programming languages and frameworks allow to easily create responsive websites with movable page parts. It is simple to allow users to drag a map (or "top earners" or whatever) to the top of the page and rearrange all other parts as they wish. But this applies only for those website where developers care about the users.

Let me understand. A new page with views and data is terrible, big thread, complaints, but IS not reporting for two months and no stats for a month after downloads, no access, that's fine? Meanwhile SS keeps paying on time and the most. What .!

It's not fine at all.  It's just so typical of Istock and has been gone over so much there's nothing much left to say.  There are plenty of complaints in the Istock part of this site if you want to see them.  This is the Shutterstock area.

First thing I tried to do was move things around but nope.  Would be nice that way I could put the relevant to me stuff at the top and the rest can just go to the bottom.

Well Excuuuuuuse Me! How's this since I'm not allowed to have an opinion without your permission. It's just a web page, it's not costing me money or downloads, it doesn't change the buyers search, it doesn't delay earnings or cut commissions. SS don't read here and even if the programmers did, it's not going to change unless they want it to.

God grant me the serenity

To be fair no one should be uploading to istock anymore so no need to complain as much.

Wow.  I was agreeing with you that iStock's antics are not fine and directing you to the area where you would indeed find complaints about Istock, since you seemed to think nobody was complaining about them.  Sorry to offend.   :o

Nice throwback to Steve Martin, BTW.
