Hi,

Very noticeable.  Reduced spike in sales in the new stuff, but for me I seen a huge amount of the older stuff suddenly get more sales which has made up for it, so my $/image is about the same as last month but overall $ has increased because more images.

Still only a small amount of sales from my daily uploads. Increase in older images but not enough to make up for it. Weekdays have been mediocre this month.

September will be a 25% drop from August following a 2% decline June and July following my best month there in May. Overall a BME for me so doing good elsewhere.

My older stuff has been selling equally good as my recently submitted images this month and I my sales at SS is up by 40-50%. If they made a tweak in the search engine, I like it!!
I never liked that if was only the images in the newest batches that sold before.

To me, this looks like a positive development at SS. The "rocket-start" of new images isn't there as it used to be, but sales are much more evenly spread between new and old photos, which is positive. Total sales seem to be similar to what they were, at least for me.

True, my initial perception proved to be mistaken as things evened out with nice sales across the portfolio.

Just out of curiosity though, I am trying to understand how this change came about. New images are still appearing as before in Newest first search, and it's not like buyers' behavior somehow changed suddenly over a course of couple weeks. I heard version that bringing Search within portfolio feature played role here but to me it doesn't sound right, for several reasons. Pure academic interest though

Things just haven't evened out for me. I guess it's like changes at other sites. It helped some, hurt some, and had no effect on others. I keep excpecting it to get back to normal. Doing fine overall

My 5 best days overall and on SS

Overall                      SS
9/6                            5/14
9/19                          6/28
9/4                            7/30
7/19                          8/30
6/6                            7/29

Three of my best days ever in Sept, but nothing since August on SS. It would be interesting to know exactly when they made the change. I think something else was tweaked after they added the photog name search, but not sure what or when.

With one hundred and five images, I'm averaging about fifteen to twenty downloads a day(not on weekends). So far so good.  Smiley

SS has finally levelled off. Oct should be at pre-change levels. Still miss those new file spikes though

Well in the last week or so more of my uploads seem to be getting accepted, which has seen a return of the new upload spike. Had my highest download day ever last Wednesday also.

Still, since I've been making sure that I upload my full quota on IS each week, the gap between the sites has closed, and on most days, IS leads in $per day - even with less than half the photos - 342 compared to 764.
