SS is definitely my most consistent agency for selling my images. My sales and $ grow every month. For videos I am currently exclusive at IS. It was going well, but the past two months I haven't had a GI sale (which is odd). This past month I had some decent normal IS sales which is typically rare...however, I'm wonder if I'd do better branching out. I am looking at SS specifically because they seem to be on their game and I couldn't be more pleased with image sales there. With that said...for those of you animators and videographers who have work at SS...how are sales?

I uploaded 50 videos since November, 4 sales for just over $20 each.  I'd say good and with 2,000 videos, BETTER ;D

That's not bad.

At IS I have videos that have netted over $100 for one sale. On average I make above $30 each sale as an exclusive. It's nice, but the sales tend to be few and far between. How many downloads a month on average for a video would you say?

I have 500 videos on line now and close to make the same amount of money each month than with my 1600+ pictures

14 months, 200 videos (trying to add 10-20 each month, mostly editorial real videos, no animations) 20 sales. Each sale brings around 15 $ on average. Just to give you an idea..

I have about 700 files at SS. On the average i sell between 50-75 sales a month at an average of 15-20 dollars each. Some are really cheap and some are very good. They run about the same rate as Pond5, but different files sell at each place, some overlap. I used to do ok at IS but over the last 2 years it has been a straight downward trend. Although, at IS, they sell stuff that never sells anywhere else, really weird stuff.

Videos sell very well at SS. Consistently neck and neck with P5 for the best selling site for me. Most sales are around the $19-$24 mark, with some smaller amounts occasionally with the smaller size sales. As said above, what sells on SS and what sells on P5 often differ, so having videos on different sites helps sell a wider spread of videos.

when i started selling video in 2011, SS immediately started selling from my 1st batch while i had to wait a long time for 1st sale in p5. But now p5 is outperforming any other site. Interesting thing is, ss rejected some of my videos with a reason 'limited commercial value, do not resubmit' and those are my best sellers in p5 now. lol
