Too many, in my case... I've lost count... hehe! :D
And I don't even have a great number of sales....! lol
How many times do you check it?

only once per day, in the morning and I close tab when I go to sleep

Actually once before bed... All sites.

I used to check all day long, but lately I am down to once in the morning and once at the end of the day before I turn off the computer.

3 times per day. First thing in the morning, lunchtime and "just before bed". I used to check every two hours, but thank God I got rid of that habit!

Trying to cut back. Try to do 3 per day. 1 x morning, 1 x afternoon, 1 x evening. But as I said, I am TRYING. :P

I'd say that's about the same for me too. Depends on what I'm doing. But first thing when I start up the computer, usually sometimes in the afternoon/evening and then last thing before I turn it off.
The morning is usually the most interesting because that's when all the overseas sales come in. I'm six hours behind Europe, figure the work day is almost over in London, when I first check.
That's SS. For other micro maybe once a day, if I remember.

Checking in on SS is a positive experience so I do it regularly.

I donīt check them that often, ok if I am around at home sure a few per day, lately I am travelling I check once a day or two and its a lot better :)

I just watch it on the Picniche toolbar, no need to check it on the site. It updates frequently, automatically.

Once a day when I'm awake, during weekends.
Three or four times, during weekdays.

usually in the morning, so I can see what I sold while I slept, it's a lovely way to start the day. then last thing at night I update my spreadsheet. I would prefer to reduce this to once every few days but it is nice to pop in and see what I've sold. It makes me happy... except on those mornings when I've sold nothing, or I've got rejected files, then it's a yucky way to start the day. So if I can drop one it's going to be the morning check-in.
the only other one I check daily is iStock.

When I'm on the computer, only when the picNiche toolbar tells me I made a sale but when I'm away from the PC, I'm always feeling the urge to check it on my phone.

I have a small room dedicated to monitoring my microstock stats. On the walls are 4 60" monitors, one for the statistics page of each of the sites to which I submit. The room is dark and I sit in the center, in a rotating BarcaLounger. The browser instances are set up to refreshed the stats at 5 second intervals. I spend most of the day in this room, watching the screens, and have my meals sent in.

I check them often when the sales are good.
When sales are bad I get depressed and convince myself that dont care about microstock and go outside in the fresh air without a camera and do usefull things, like mowing the lawn or go fishing.
Next day, the same.
I think it once happened that I didnt check the numbers for 2-3 days.
I survived, but it felt bad.
