You just couldn't be more wrong, looks like you could do some traveling yourself. I mean how can you even compare ppl of 2 different European countries, for instance someone from Holland and an Italian, or a Scandinavian and a Greek? This are not states man, where ppl are much less the same, you all have thanksgiving etc, some states really stand out, because of the minorities, like Florida, especially Miami, where you can just get that Cuban feel etc. And yeah I do talk TO ppl, I thought that was obvious from my Sicily post.

And guess what, I just booked vacation there, July's SS earnings more than covered it Grin

You don't understand what i'm saying. As many others have pointed out here, the nature of people is pretty universal. In most places i've been, which includes 8 different nations in Europe, the people have been helpful, respectful and kind. You're bringing up stereotypes as reality, and I'm saying look past your prejudices.

yep I always thought when watching the news, TV, movies, that american ppl and their surrounding, their attitude... it's all not real, made of plastic. Now that I'v been to the US several times staying a few months each time... I still see it the same way : ) There are very fundamentel things missing completely regardles off whether the people are nice or not, but it would take a really long explanation clarify what they are. What comes to my mind is what Sylvia Plath
wrote, that when she started dating some european lad for the first time, she realized that he is the first men he ever got together with who had intuition.

LOL looks like you have a lot of reading to do, I know your school system is all about America is the greatest country in the world BS, that's also the reason most of you know nothing about the world outside of US, but still seems like you consider yourself enlightened so this is no excuse. I see you carried on liberating countries like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan. It's just a shame you always leave a trail of millions of innocent dead civilians, mostly women and children and leave the country in ruins. But as long as you get your precious (oil) and as long as ppl close to government and their companies earn billions of taxpayers money, that just OK for you. That's how imperiums thrive, right? Wink

Oh yeah I forgot about economical hitmen, that devastated dozens of countries around the world so American companies could profit, so I guess it could be done without waging wars as well (if you don't count overthrowing governments and assassinations of democratically elected leaders).
