Great job Litifeta!  I've got a few of those ready to upload myself, but your color pop is spectacular. 

Make sure your keywords are solid, and that should sell for you for a very long time at SS!   Wink

Congratulations, 
Being in the lightboxes also increases sales.  I have 3 in at the moment and my sales have rocketed without even uploading anything in the last week.

yeah nice shot, and well done getting on the front page.

how many sales is a lot??.. . I am curious how many sales an image CAN have in a day on shutterstock.  I am not sure what my record is, but it is somewhere between 10-20... never over 20 though... but then again my images aren't super sellers either.

How do you know that your pictures have been selected for a lightbox on SS?

You have to look at the lightboxes and see if you are in any of them.

You have to go to the buying part of the site - not the submitting part - to see the front page image and lightboxes (which are located at the bottom of the page).

They have a babies light box right now and - no - I don't have a baby in the lightbox, but I had to check because one of my baby shots that never caught on started to sell every day.  I wonder if lightboxes bring more attention to the whole theme?

And congrats Litefida.  Nice to be recognized.

Who decides which image goes to which lightbox? do you apply for a lightbox participation or do the shutterstock staff do that occasionaly when looking for new images?
