Looking at my portfolio sorted by "Most popular" at Shutterstock many of my newest uploads show up on the last page. So they have essentially a hard time to be found. There was no download surge of the new images as usual after I uploaded them. Anyone experience the same?

it seems like a few people are experiencing this.... but, judging by a thread on the same thing at ss, it's split down the middle.

I've never had a newest search problem, and my new images go on my first page of the most popular.

The introduction of the new search algorythm didnt impact on my sales either up or down.

Photographers seem to be fretting more, if that helps.

My most recent uploads to SS went nowhere. Prior to that, I always got a few DLs right away on a new image. As has been posted on other threads (by me, and too often) it seems like the big sites have all drastically de-emphasized new images. Some of us are wondering if there's any point in continuing, if new images can never acquire the 'popularity' they'd need to sell.

Some images that got accepted yesterday are not showing anywhere sorted by "most popular", i checked my port twice. I can see them though when i choose newest first. Huh
