I usually add multiple word keywords and it seemed to work some time ago but now when I check my new photos they have less keywords than I entered when I submitted them and only the simple, one word keywords are there. I don't get any message when I click the submit button like the one with redundant keywords, they just don't appear after the images are accepted.
Does this happen to everyone?

what you entered and what was published?

I entered single and multiple word keywords and only the single word were published.

edit: it looks like multiple word keywords are split so I have some keywords that are not relevant now.

I still cannot get your point. Can you share any example?
Did you mean like this: texture background became texture, background,?

My problem seems to be older. I just checked some photos uploaded in August and it's the same. I'd like to be notified about keywords being removed from my photos so I could use the free space to enter new ones.

Also, limiting the ability to properly keyword our photos is the worst anti spam measure they could think of.

The splitting up of keyword phrases has been a known 'bug' for a long time. I'd bet a least a couple years. You have to go back and add phrases after the image is accepted.

Right at least a couple of years or more of complaining on the forum there about this problem. Have to go back and add phrase words.

A long time. There's a bug when we summit pictures that splits phrases in single words. Like "disk golf" becomes "disk" and "golf". But what we call a bug may not be a bug to SS. They know about it and have for many years.

The solution if it it makes you nervous or happy, go back and fix them after uploading, leave the single words. I think the search compensates for the phrases now and plural and some related words that get blocked as duplicate when they aren't.

"Disc Golf" Stock Photos, Illustrations, and Vector Art (241)
Disc Golf Stock Photos, Illustrations, and Vector Art (241)
Disc-golf Stock Photos, Illustrations, and Vector Art (241)

all the same. exceptions will be old pictures that were accepted before the new keyword rules.

I have phrases in my metadata and they stay intact.
