I bet it is the design elements on the pavement.

I think the ACS is right. I have had rejected images by SS, just for one Chinese writing on the vase at the image background. They demanded the translation to be accepted. I ignored because other sites accepted the same images. When the SS refused my images even though the possibility of reupload, I just ignore when the other sites accepted. I don't waste my time with nonsense.

red sentence...   BRAVO!  the most insightful comment ever re. ss rejections .
the main issue is not whether your rejection(s) is/are justified
the main issue is , that behind all these mass-rejections, a scheme of how certain handful of
reviewers are abusing their positions . ie. double-dipping on re-submissions.

by doing what idesign say so correctly,  I don't waste my time with nonsense.
[/quote]... you end their game.
the more ppl do this, the sooner the review will get back to the old days of proper reviewing.

that being said, there are still a handful of excellent reviewers there in ss.

i know, because, when i do get rejections, i see them closely, and find the faults i missed.
,, but never with the 100% rejections; that is nonsense

I just got a bunch of nonsensical "title" rejections. Someone can't be bothered actually  looking because they want to go out and have fun this weekend.

hint here, ... make a note of the weekend and time of your submissions that usually get these nonsense. this is the shift of atilla. if you avoid that shift, you will get the proper reviewer(s)
and not waste time submitting during these attila shifts

if we all find those shifts to avoid, atilla will lose money for not being able to gang-reject our uploads.

Yes, I used to be able to avoid weekends, but now reviews are more sporadic and I can't predict when they'll be "looked at."

So right, Shelma. There is no recognizable rhyme or reason to reviews any more. It's a total cr*pshoot.

The insane will bang their heads against the wall in a futile effort to reason it out.

The sane will simply keep throwing spaghetti on that same wall to see if and when anything sticks.

Definitely they have one or more new vector reviewers the last couple of weeks. I have also had a lot of crazy rejections.

good 2 know that it 's not just the photo review that's plagued.
but i think it's not a handful of renegade mass-atilla, but more so that there is one person using
some kind of program to do his/her work.
.. some kind of macro based on histogram or pixel-movement.

i suspect this because only such a program can curate a batch of 10-100 images per 20 minute or so.
i actually timed the curation and found this cannot be humanly.

try it, one day or night , based on your time of rejections, you can see that from your emails of
results of your submission. you will find it's not being done by a person

Now ALL of my vectors are being rejected for varying ridiculous reasons, mostly "title," but one for "placement" because they don't like things to be symmetrical, I guess? Meanwhile, the site is flooded with new vectors in the same category that are similar to the ones that were rejected. Not traced, but clearly "inspired" by my images.

I'm trying very, very hard not to feel paranoid.

did you try writing "contact us" or twit oringer on his twitter site (directly)???
if you feel this is unjustified, do it with conviction . you be amazed how a simple direct email to the top ppl does wonders, as many times, they do not know what the floor level ppl are doing,
most of all the floor managers .

i once went all the way up to the top for an incident, not microstock, and i had the
great surprise when the region manager actually called me directly to resolve the issue.
next thing i knew, the floor was all wiped out of the culprits.

if enough contributors do this, the same can happen at ss. don't waste time on forums,
because i am sure oringer has no time for reading forums. it's like the army,
the dirty sgt is the one who is dirty, and the major hears nothing because he thinks the sgt is
doing the job well.

Don't even try to understand the rejection criteria.  I gave up on it long ago.  Just resubmit images like this and hope for the best  Or  clone out the cars.
