Got this rejection a few weeks back on a digitally altered image (creating an artwork like image):

"We require complete property release with source image on it, together in one file."

I had my standard "I created this myself Property Release" attached (which was excepted in the past). So, OK, I pasted the original image inside my property release and uploaded with a new release name and resubmitted, clearly marked as resubmission with rejection reason quoted. After all of that, it got rejected for a technical reason..... >:(

Got another rejection like that now. Wondering if it is worth my while to go through the process again, or just write that one of?  ???

Can not see me doing a property release for each image in future. Just not worth the time.

It seems to be a habit of SS editors to reject your stuff for legal issues, make you do the work, resubmit and then reject for technical. Seems to be thing over there lately.

Can I see a copy of your "I created this myself Property Release" ? I'm starting to upload artwork and don't know how to handle the release part of it.
Thanks Steve

They have their own property release wich you have to fill in and sign and it seems they use for artwork.

Let's say you painted an watercolor, and it wasn't digital art, then they request property release...

I don't understand why a "digital watercolor" in photoshop only requires a sketch or reference to be uploaded and a real watercolor painting that you scan require that form to be filled and signed...

By the way not only have to be signed by you, but if Im' not mistaken it needs a witness to sign it as well...I can't remember it has been a long time since I checked.

This thread is from four years ago, and the first two posters aren't even on here anymore, so you probably won't be able to get that "I created this myself Property Release".  :)
