Wow!  I just got a single download that paid $90.60. That's a record for me.

What a load of bollocks, mate.  How long do they expect that they can serve us this empty offensive tripe?

yet another reason why reading the SS or any other agency forums is usually waste of time.  if it's important enough it will show up here

i've been hit by the vanishing images feature several time - i thought maybe they'fd been raptured

the missing images never show up in the accepted/rejected logs, but they always come home eventually.  had 8 images return today

Must have been one of those touchy subjects EL (I can't remember how it's actually called)

I have been hit with this bug since 2006 and it has happened so many times I have lost track of the number. If the bug did not impact sales I would not worry about it. However it does, especially for the batches that are gone a long while or miss having their keywords indexed entirely. This last batch was gone 15 days and has long since been buried under thousands of newer uploads. It is buried so far back in the newest page I will not even bother looking for it.

This happens so often to my my new uploads that I have concluded that it does not matter if I email support and post in the bug threads or do nothing at all.  They all show up back in my port the next time SS indexes the servers that the various data for those missing images is stored on.

I have noticed that the server that holds the keyword information is sometimes not indexed at all and sometimes it is indexed much later than the thumbnail and main image data.

The problem is not fixed if it occurs again and again over a span of years, therefore based on SS's track record I would say that it is no feat of programming effort or skill to just wait 15 days for the servers to index.  It is a poor show all around; very unprofessional and disrespectful to the folks who make it possible for SS and it's employees to make a great living.

It's neverending story. It seems that this time missing images are not searchable.

It's going to take WEEKS to fix it?  And if they DO fix it will it stay fixed and not happen again?

I had 5 approved and automatically disappeared they came back then a glitch tonight sent all but 1 away again from the search.  Totally FRUSTRATING!  Especially since I hadn't uploaded anything until this week and I have 6 ready to go.

Time will tell how this new search will affect our bottom line, in the mean time six of my latest batches are missing AGAIN

Re: "The order of images in search results may change. (However, the fundamental principles powering the New, Most Popular and Relevant sort orders are not changing.)"

I can't help but worry that best match disease is now in place to put a fork in it

At least we now know the reason behind the disappearing images and weren't left guessing about what's going on or told to contact customer service.

My one image that went missing last night is back again, so at least the problem doesn't appear to be long-lasting.  It sold twice before disappearing, too.

Two of my latest uploads have disappeared over night.......again. I wonder if there's as many bugs on the buyers side of things.

This happens almost every time I submit, some batches gone for 15 days.  And yes there are bugs on the buyer side, but not as many as we endure. The last batches are still missing today.

After uploading a new file, is anyone getting this type of message "file not accepted by our system, please upload again, file may be corrupted."  This has happened to me 3 times with the same file, which I know is fine (no problems uploading it elsewhere).  I use the http uploader (I only submit a few images at a time).  Very frustrating.

Yes. I think I've had it happen 3x, twice with the same file, out of about 20 uploads in the last 48 hours or so. It is irritating and time-consuming.
