Today I uploaded some photos, categorised and submitted them, just went into my contributor account and there's no trace of the batch anywhere, to make sure I wasn't going mad I went into my email trash and confirmed I had received the standard "we have received your upload" email.

Cleared my cache, logged out and back in but no sign of today's batch anywhere.

Has anyone else noticed a recent batch of uploads disappearing from your account?

Not quite the same, but equally mysterious.  I submitted a batch of 20 last night.  This morning I got notified that the last 6 were approved, but the first 14 were marked Not Approved and the thumbnails were all missing.  No record of them in the rejected images list either.  I'm guessing something went seriously wrong with their processing flow.

My photos submitted on Tuesday (14th) are all still sitting there waiting. I guess I'm glad they haven't disappeared, but was wondering why things were taking so long

I've had them not appear once they get accepted, ie. not shown in active images on contributors homepage, but they appear after an hour or so. To lose trace of them after submitting is a new one. However, whatever the bug on ss, I've never heard of images not coming back.

Don't know where you have been for the last year or so but this has been an ongoing discussion!!!!

I still yet haven't been able to figure out why so many people on these forums on this site dont know what is going on where they submit their images???

Do you know where the forums are on SS and do you take the time to read them because if you did you would know all about this!

Here is just one link there are many more and it started way before this link started, this was started by the forumguru because of all the other threads discussing this issue.

Nope, way too much crap to wade through on that forum. If I actually read half of it I wouldn't have the time to produce any images!
Sooner later anything important gets posted here (usually sooner)

This bug has been occurring for some of us off and on for years. This year the bugs increased to the point that every single batch I uploaded from August on, has been hit by missing images or images that are not searchable.  Needless to say it has impacted sales significantly.

The bugs have recently spread to more submitters and have become so severe and widespread that SS is finally acknowledging that they do exist (most likely at the database level).

Let us hope they address the multiple issues in full, instead of the bailing twine fixes that they have been applying.

ditto, I can't manage to follow all the forums on all the sites and like others am happy when things turn up here.  Thanks for the link BTW

I had that same question RT (two batches disappeared in the last couple days) - so thanks for starting the thread.

I do know where they are, but no I don't read them and haven't for years mainly because of the same reasons others have pointed out, but thanks for the link.

So I had some images approved, after a wait, over the weekend. This morning, one of them sold, but now those images have disappeared from my active image list, count and gallery. I guess they'll show up again..

My last 23 approved images (which where already in my port for a few days) disappeared. I can still find the list under my approved list of submissions. They have not responded to my inquiry yet. Those of you with experience with this problem, did they fix it in the end or will I have to resubmit again?  ???

I had this same problem a long while back, but I think they announced in the forum back then that they were aware of the problem, so I just left it and they did fix it eventually.

It's a pain to see it back again though.  :(

When that happens to me I usually fall back on the http upload on the site then delete the ones in the ftp folder

Yes they have disappeared, there seems to be another problem as well, some recent uploads also tend to end up at the very last page of the portfolio. SS, never used to place them there. Havent got a clue of whats happening?

Support replied to my ticket late last night. Known bug, working on it, sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.

Not happy, but not sure what else do to. If the scuttlebutt is true that the big bosst for new files is no longer in place, perhaps it won't hurt so much that after a few hours and a couple of sales the batches vanished for a week...

I submit about 5 times per week, most of my batches (not exaggerating) from August on have been hit by these bugs.  The batches that ended up missing or had search problems are a loss.  Most of those images do not have sales and SS will not allow us to delete them for re-submission. I am beyond pissed and refuse to add new images to the abyss.

Very poor show on SS's part , this has gone on for far too long.  They must not be putting many resources toward resolution or worse yet, they could have decided it cost too much to fix and they expect us to live with it.

We apologize for this temporary inconvenience. Please feel free to contact us again if you feel the issue has not been resolved within the next few days.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
