If you really disagree with the reviewer's decision you can repost with a note to the reviewer explaining your concern.  Alternatively, try posting in the critique forum and see if others agree with you ... that is if you can post an image there.  I haven't been able to for months, as haven't many others.  If you want to post a full size image, you'd have to use an off-site service anyway, like Flickr, VOX or some such.

I've found SS to have the most consistant reviewers, but I've had a few rejections (especially lately) that clearly should have been accepted. I can say this with 100% certainty because the images in question were composites made of trusted components.

When this happens to me I change the image in some way (downsize, curves, levels, saturation) and resubmit it. Sometimes I'll wait a day, but I usually include it in my next batch. If it isn't accepted this second time I'll forget about it.

I only resubmit images if I am as close to certain as I can be that the reviewer made an error in judgement - if I have any doubt about the quality or commercial appeal of an image I will not resubmit it.

I often try resubmitting but as sharply_done says, I change it in some way..

Often downsizing (to get rid of noise and improve the sharpness)  When I upload the images the second time i write a little note that it is a resubmit with the problems fixed.  I resubmitted without writing a note once and got a warning.

I had 2 batches of 10 rejected before being accepted at shutterstock (10/10 rejected in the first and second try).
Are they considered "true" rejection?
May i resubmit with minor changes?
Should I write a note for the reviewer?
Or maybe is it better forget those old images to avoid warnings? (some of them are good sellers)
What is your experience about this kind of situation?
