hello everyone,
I want to try upload some footage, but Im not quite sure if model release is necessary for people out of the focused area.
Do I need model realease from all the people in this specific video?

just like photos.  If you could possibly recognize the person, you need a release

wow did you ever heard about tripods, steadicam etc. ? I don't think modelreleases are your first problem ::) I highly doubt there as any agency which would accept a video in this quality besides the content isn't stockworthy at all. Keep it as what it is:
a nice remembrance from a funny family event :)
