I am on 11 days too and its crap. I have 51 files pending and I am afraid they are going to go online come weekend. So its another 51 files down the drain. Dont tell me thats just a hoax, I had a few batches that hit the weekend the files never had a chance. And they were good photos.

In 8 years of uploading to SS I can't say I've ever identified an issue with images being approved on a weekend. Good images always get noticed and bought (and plenty of bad ones too) although sometimes it can take several weeks rather than days for them to take off.

I guess you are right, you have a point, but some batches had my better photos, hit the weekend and the sales from them are really disappointing. But having said that, the photos are probably not better then anything else up there.

OTOH, I just got my batch reviewed, 1 rejection (trademark) of 51 photos, so 50 photos hitting the market on Wednesday afternoon. Thats giving them a fair chance. I am happy with that. I had a few photos in there that I have high expectations for. We'll see.

^^^ Good luck with them.

What is really damaging to new uploads at the moment is that the keywords used to buy them do not appear to be registering. They've got no chance of climbing the default sort-order whilst that remains.

Normally takes a few hours. They should be searchable though.

Relative slow this month on SS... after 3 BME's in a row   :-\

But FT is beyond any expectations  ;D ;D ;D and manage to recover a very big chunk of SS loses.

Also disappointed in SS this month but excited about the uptick at DT.

Another consecutive BME at SS for me too. Somehow SS just keeps growing.

I really wish people who respond to "how are you doing" topics
would end their reply with a quick rundown of what they specialize in.
This constant "I'm doing great - I'm doing lousy" is totally useless
dribble unless we know what kind of catagory you fall into. Studio?
People? Landscape? Product? Information is only good when it includes
detail.

Perhaps with a link to their best selling photos and instructions how to reproduce them?  ;)

We could always meet up and shoot the images for you. Then we could buy you some drinks whilst we processed and uploaded the images to all your agencies. That would be great!

No studio, people, landscape, product, art, artistic, conceptual, nature, animals, pets, agriculture, architecture, abstract, objects, isolations (pictures), silhouettes, artistic isolations (created images); places; few christmas cards (watch this space for further updates, I must just go browse through my 2000 images to check on the other categories).  After that I will tell you which of these categories contains the images that are actually selling.... ;)

I love Shuttersock!!

I just passed last month's BME (which had been lifted by a $79 single/other license) so November is now another BME. In all the effing gloom of larcenous agencies, it's nice to be getting some good vibes

I love Shutterstock - did I mention that?

I have  a BME on SS and FT and I do so-so on DP and 123 and PD and CanStockPhoto are really lousy at the moment. I sell  landscapes, photoshopped stuff, isolations, skylines, people, signs, nightshots, nature, flowers, backgrounds, concepts, interiors, animals, architecture, transport, food, black and white, religious and editorial.

I hope my specifications help a bit. Or is it too much detail now? Not exactly sure how you want it. There wasnt enough detail in your request.

Congrats! Incredible sustained growth from SS. My earnings at SS are projected to be 38% higher than Nov 2011, which itself was 32% higher than 2010. Unfortunately every other agency, apart from BigStock, will be well down on last year but I guess the events are closely related.

Seems like one of those months for me where what you loose on the swings you make up on the roundabouts. Some great gains on a few sites, but not leading to a BME overall.

I always think that when people complain about the search changes or rank. Someone else is getting all their sales and I'm one of those people. Do I need to apologize to you for stealing your income?  ;)

At least you know, it's not the whole site that's broken and you can recover in some other month. I really can't understand why you would have such a drop, when I have some pretty weak offerings and they just produce a flat rate, pretty much all year long. Maybe good work has more fluctuations?

No. I don't really blame anyone. Besides, I abandoned ship, stole the life raft and started rowing toward a nice looking tropical island when I saw a couple storm clouds in the sky.
