And my first post on the forum, I greet all of you.

I apologize for my english, but I'm using a translator.

are about three months since I started my adventure into the world of microstock, I wanted to ask for the information.

- On SS for three months I have a wallet of 66 photos / illustrations I scored 200 downloads $ 110.00 is a good result? There is an average?

- How long does it take to review the photo? I have to wait forever 6/8 days, it is normal?

- SS I rejected this image for copyright issues, I can explain where they saw the copyright? I do not understand ...

thank you all for the replies and clarifications!

1 - you are doing well in terms of sales
2 - I have files pending since June 9th, never seen anything like this before and I am talking about editorial too, just unbelievable!
3 - I don't see any trademark issues but perhaps the "moon" stripes are a concern for SS, you can always re submit if you think there is no trademark, I would

Thanks for the reply!
But how can I make him understand that it is a ball bought in a Chinese shop at 1 euro?

Did you check the packaging of the ball? Many toys are copyrighted.

Yes, there is no brand...

Maybe it is the tiling at the bottom. Some hotel pools have their names written with the tiles under the water.

In this case they just look random. If you cropped them out of the image I have a feeling it might get accepted. That's what I would do assuming there are no identifying marks on the ball.

Thanks Oldhand!
But it is not the floor, I sent a series of these, it is only those with the ball were not accepted. (It is a private swimming pool) The problem is the ball, but I do not understand the problem. All other microstock have accepted the file.

I would resubmit the image with a note saying that this file was previously rejected for copyright, but that it's a private swimming pool and a no brand toy, so there's nothing in it that under copyright.

The rejection may have been a mistake.  It happens sometimes.

^ They could ask a property release for the "private swimming pool"
(Maybe better resubmit with no note)

Any resubmission on SS needs a note otherwise you risk a warning

Ignore it and carry on shooting and producing new images. I was like you when I started. Everytime I got a rejection from SS, I put much thought into it instead of ignoring it and carrying on with my work.

Thanks to everyone for the tips!

I returned the picture saying that there is no brand, that if you want I can send you release.
But now thinking about it ...

Perhaps rightly "ruigsantos"

However, hopefully good, one puts as much effort ...

If there's no brand, how will you know who can sign the release?

They sell the ball, but could they sign copyright? (Their About Us doesn't say they design/manufacture the things they sell.)

The release is for the pool ...  :D

I have not bought that ... But it is the same as mine, I bought in a Chinese store, there is no brand...

I make you a question? But then even the flat for the food we photograph have the trademark? It seems absurd ...

Tile or ball doesn't make a difference either one can be hit with copyright.

Gaudi seems to be OK:

She has already said further up that it's the ball and NOT the pool which is the issue, as they only rejected those with the ball.
