Title: SS Referral Program question

Hello friends,

I am trying to invite a friend to become a contributor at SS.

I found the referral link is like this :
https://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=xxxxxxx

but when I copy and paste this to the browser (after log out of my account), the "ref" part disappear , and just this URL is there :
https://submit.shutterstock.com/

please advise
