Whenever it's time for me to re-apply to join SS (just about to be my 4th) why do they send me the notification in German ? I have emailed them asking them to send in English but I have had no response.

That is strange. If there is an option to receive communications in other languages that's great. But it should be strictly on request and not from their detection of where you are located. I'm assuming you're in Germany.

I also received one those - Eine Einladung von Shutterstock - messages, here in Finland.
I guess they think we're all multilingual on this side of the Atlantic.
