Hello,

I am new to this site.
The other day I was planning to get on inmagine. But one of the lines in their contract said that I can't sell same pics at a lower price at any other website. Now the thing is that I sell some on fotolia, dreamstime and would be getting on istock today/tomorrow.So they sell my pics at a very small price. So can't I sell the same pics on inmagine?I am aware of the fact that the images being sold as rf cannot be sold as rm on either alamy or inmagine. But can't I sell the same pics as rf even on inmagine?

Help me with this please.I am an amateur and don't have so many variations of the same subject that I can give different pic to different agency. How should I tackle this? Can I give the pics that I give to alamy?Alamy is okay if I sell the same pics but as rf only. How should I tackle inmagine?Should I sort out exclusive images for inmagine?'Coz the others are being sold at lower price, thus I said exclusive pics for inmagine. So I haven't yet uploaded my 1st 5 pics as samples.

Correct me if I am wrong or have a wrong idea about the contract.

Sounds like they want exclusive stuff, also why does the site layout look pretty much identical to 123RF?

So could I give the same images I give to alamy? The prices are almost same..Not lower than inmagine's.

Or should Igive them exclusive images? Is it worth that special exclusive extra hard work?

Oh, that explains it!

OP, I don't know, I wouldn't bother with them, I don't think they are a big earner. Anyone else have experience with them?

Hello!

If you are submitting the same image to all other micro sites including 123RF.com, your images will find its way onto inmagine.com via the valueimages line.

however, if you have something UNIQUE to offer and if you're submitting to Alamy only (premium RF prices, not micro) you may submit to Inmagine's IRIS. We do not want a clash of the same image appearing on inmagine but 2 different prices. I'm sure you understand that customers do not like to be deceived.

Thank you very much.

Alex.

Yes, they don't want anything that's on micro sites but will take stuff that's on equivalent non-exclusive macro sites like Alamy, Age etc. Having said that I haven't uploaded there in years, sales are few and very far between as a direct contributor, however I do sell more through a distributor with them.

My advice to the OP - go with a distributor or pick one of the majors to send your work direct.

Same lark as 123, with reviewing/editing techniques which are terrible. Cant spot a commercial shot, if it knocked on their eyelids.
