Starting yesterday I am no longer being directed to unread posts. Instead I am being sent to the top of the current page regardless of whether I have read those posts or not. Previously I would select the "home" button and then look for bold topics. After clicking the topic it would redirect me to the unread posts and bypass the read ones. This is no longer happening. Same on my home laptop, ipad, and work computer.
Anyone else?

The way you describe your workflow is pretty much what I do, and it's working OK for me this morning

Yes it is not going to the new post and skipping my read posts most of the time. Goes to the top and I scroll to find where I left off.

Yep, same here.  Desktop and mobile.

I'm in Colorado, I believe Sean is in Missouri. Maybe a server issue?

I'm getting automatic subscriptions to the topics I reply to now. That's new. And annoying.

It is. I just found the place to turn it off in my profile. I'm guessing this was a result of the updates yesterday that Leaf mentioned in the thread about Tapatalk breaking?

I'm not noticing anything different.

OK. Now, I just got one of those auto-notifications. Teaches me to open my big mouth.

I'm having the exact same issue as Chromaco described in his original post; everything's getting re-directed to the top of the current page for any given thread.  Then I have to scroll down to find the most recent posts.

I saw this and turned them off after the first response. However my e-mail is still blowing up and I am getting one every time someone responds to this thread. Maybe I will just have to deal with it for this thread and it will stop with any new ones.

The email has an unsubscribe link. That seemed to work.

On that same page where you can turn off the preference, you have a list of things you already subscribed to. You can uncheck them all and hit update/apply/whatever it says and get rid of things you unknowingly subscribed to while the preference was set

Yep, it should be on that page.  Make sure this line is unchecked
"Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic."

I can't understand why the links are working for some people and not others but I'll take a look at it.  I know it is very annoying not being sent to the last unread post.

I just found the little box for attachments that says "Notify me of replies" when I went to respond. I bet thats it. Is that new?

no, i don't think it is new.. but I'm not entirely sure where you are talking about

Can someone who is having problems with the links on the front page not linking to the unread posts send me a few of those link or post them in the thread.  Just copy and paste what you are getting linked to.  Perhaps that will help me find the bug or whatever the problem is.

It's ok for me now, but for most of the week I wasn't seeing any updates at all.  Seems fine now.

http://www.microstockgroup.com/site-related/is-anyone-else-having-issues-with-the-forum/msg354751/?topicseen

for this topic.

http://www.microstockgroup.com/computer-hardware/switchng-from-windows-to-mac/msg354580/?topicseen

for another one that is not working.

Thanks
BTW the check box is when you post, it's right below the posting window with a little plus sign. After I unchecked it I stopped getting the e-mails. I never even knew it was there.

I'm suddnly getting these emails, but can't see any checkbox other than the + for 'attachments and other options'
Oh, right, you click on the + sign and 'notify me of replies' appears.
Tx.
(I hope I don't have to do it every time now!)

It seems you have to tick the box with every single reply you make.
Can this be changed, please, Leaf? Tx.
