Topic: Personal Profile Changes?

(Read 2131 times)

Is it just me, or have our personal profiles been improved and expanded upon? I also notice that we can no longer see how many people are ignoring us. Or is it somewhere and I just can't find it. I will be so disappointed at losing this information, because it's kind of a badge of honor. Cheesy

The 'ignored by' count is gone!  This is so sad.

yes, I agree. I liked to be able to see the "number of ignored" on a profile.

When I push the ignore button on someone I like to see how many others did as well. Somehow if there were a lot of "ignoreors" (is that a word?) than I felt maybe it wasn't just me, the member really was annoying.

C'est la vie

I add my vote to bringing back the ability to see how many people are ignoring us and other people.

I prefer to ignore people directly in the threads. Sometimes even one of those "ignorants" (Grin) may say something useful.

It hurt me when I saw I think 4 people ignoring me. Sad

Even though I don't normally check that, I'm ok that this should be shown.

WOW.  If YOU had 4 "ignorants" then I must be a really nice guy.  LOL

I would be the ignorant in my above definition, but anyway I am not a guy.  Grin

I know you're not a guy, Maria, and I'm confused by the reaction to my comment?  I thought I was indicating that you are a really nice person.  If YOU, the really nice person, are being ignored by 4 people then I'm not as annoying as I thought.  I was being ignored by only three people.

Sorry for the confusion.  It was intended as a compliment.   Embarrassed

Oh, how sweet.  Grin

Is there a way to give "thumbs up" instead of ignore?  Grin  We have the heart for useful posts, but does it count as a rank for members, like members with most useful replies, more trustworthy information perhaps?

the ignore stats are now visible again in your profile.  The 'hearts' are also visible under 'useful posts'

Oh goodie!  I missed this feature.

I'm with Warren - can't imagine why anyone would want to ignore Maria.  Maybe they are offended by logic and courtesy?   Undecided

Ahhhh... I thought so but wasn't sure if I was being misunderstood.  Never know around here ... what with that ignore button and all.   Grin

And, I was impressed with Maria's use of "ignorants"  and wanted to replay it.  LOL

That really surprises me as well. I would say that you are one of the nicest of the people here.  I can't imagine why people would put you on ignore!!

I know! Well, don't feel bad madelaide, I'm up to 10 so I guess I'm only half as nice as you. Probably less than that, if I had to rate myself.  Cheesy
