I've just noticed that on the list of Users Online (lower left) on this forum, some of the names are in bold. (Not mine Sad

)

What does it mean? Are they special in some way?

I think that they supported the site and are Premium members

yep premium members
it was requsted because there is a premium members 'shout box' - chat area thing, and they wanted to know who else was online that was a premium member.
