I uploaded ten files to SnapVllage on Thursday to see how they would be received and to test the uploading process. The blog says that images will be reviewed in 1-2 days or else to email. Now it's Monday evening here so shall I email or just wait? Anyone else getting images reviewed in 1-2 days??

Snapvillage is still full of bugs, lack of watermark, intermittent service, etc etc that I think most people have given up.
You are probably the only person actually uploading to them Phil!
The main story I hear/read is that the only reason their review times reduced to 1-2 days is that no-one could actually get the upload procedure to work, so they didn't have many pictures to review!
An indication of the lack of interest is their blog - when the site was first launched there were many entries/comments in the blog from excited photographers. The latest blog announcement has received no comments at all - zero, zilch, niet.
On another subject, Fotolia appears to be recovering rapidly and I hope your downloads/income stream have/has returned to normal.

Thanks for the info - been away from the forums for a while and didn't read everything before uploading. I actually found the uploading process quite easy and I like the fact that I can set a price and opt out of subscriptions. I hope the site sorts itself out and takes off.

Phil, if you really look for a new site check Albumo (referral link in my signature ;D ) They even pay for uploading! And the site works fine, no bugs so far, SY

I uploaded 5 images to test the waters as well - on Aug. 30 - that was 10 days ago and they are still "pending".

I sent them another sitemail and within the hour, all 5 were approved. "SNAP"
