Hi All -

As we accelerate the final stages of the transition from SnapVillage to Veer Marketplace, we will be shutting down
www.SnapVillage.com  this Saturday, August 1st.

Any remaining unpaid royalties will be paid out on September 15th. We will pay out any and all accrued royalties, regardless of whether or not the remaining balance meets the $10 payout threshold.

We will retain access to image files in the system for no more than 30 days in order to ensure remaining customers have adequate time to download previously purchased files.  After 30 days, all files will be removed. There are no steps that you need to take - this will happen automatically.

After we've completed and confirmed the final royalty payout - your accounts will be removed as well.

If you have any questions - please email:   [email protected]

Thanks,

- Brian

Brian,

How are you going to direct the SV customers to veer marketplace?

It is important that they don't lose faith in anything you are trying to do.

Hi Cidepix -

Good question:  we are reaching out to SnapVillage customers this week - including direct calls to those who have subscriptions. They'll be offered a better package on Marketplace.

We'll also be setting up a Marketplace branded splash page and redirects to capture any inbound SnapVillage traffic going forward. This will go live on the 1st.

Hey Brian,
So, for those of us whose portfolio have been transferred to Veers Mktplace, there is no need to do anything else, right?

Btw, my portfolio that was transferred from SV, are the buyers able to see them already?  Yes, I 've done the taxation bit, the day I got my password and transfer notice.

I don't have any earnings left at SV, but I am happy to see all balances being paid to the contributors.  Good work, Brian.

Brian, I really hope that the contributor section at Veer Marketplace is FULLY functional.

I always had a hard time navigating through the menus at Marketplace. I still can't find my royalties. Everything still keeps confusing me. Other photographers are still claiming problems with their transition of images. This all seems to be a bit unprepared.

I was waiting for the official email stating all the changes that have been made but I couldn't see the implementation of the accrued royalties overview. Will it ever come?

Did you not get the email earlier today stating that yes, it is coming? They are not finished with everything yet.

I know that they are not finished, yet that's why I'm asking. Ok, missed that line with the upcoming overview. Sorry for the rant.

However, I hope it is done by the time SV is turned off...
