Ok I had assumed that I wasn't getting any sales from Snapvillage, and for the most part that was true - BUT - I checked the earnings logs a couple of days ago, and found that I had a sale of $28 plus a number of other random downloads that should have been paid out, but wasn't for whatever reason. The result was I sent a message to support requesting clarification and received a paypal payout of about $35 a day later.

For those who haven't checked their account lately, it might be worth a look to see if there hasn't been a similar glitch in the system for your files.

I received US$1.50 for the only sale I had one year ago.  A nice surprise.

Snapvillage has a policy of paying within 45 days of the end of the year whatever hasn't been taken in a payout earlier in the year. If at the end of the year you have $1.50, they give it to you. They start the year fresh with everyone being zero as of January 1. I hope this won't change in the future, but I can't imagine this policy staying the same with the changes that are coming to the site.

mine was so tiny, i couldn't even spend it for coffee, lol. but it's nice that they sent it anyway.
when i recd a note from paypal, i thought it was some fraud , as i never asked to be paid there.
so i wrote support and sure enough they (Corbis) confirmed it was OK, not a fraud. "so little , should have just kept it ", i told them. but they said, it's their payout at the end of the year, no matter how small.
well, for that nice gesture, i wish them all the best with the new ppl. this far, all communications to/from them were so courteous and quick responding,  i  sure hope they succeed in 2009.  i sure could work with a company like that, so
i will continue  with SV,  for sure!

A big .30 is what I received.

But in fairness to them, it came along after my accont had been closed for some time. I'm off to get a quarter cup of coffee!!

wow, i want to live in your country. here, i got 30cts and it won't even buy me a packet of sugar for the coffee; never mind the 1/4 cup.  for 25 cents, i have to stand next to the machine to sniff the coffee brew  Grin

Yep I understood that to be the policy too, but didn't receive anything at the end of the year, so my post was really just a heads up for those who haven't checked their account for a while to do so, in case for some reason the system wasn't working as it should.
