I recently purchased the latest version of CushyStock and am having problem after problem with the software.  I scan my working folders but then they don't show up and just ask for me to scan them again, Shutterstock is the only port that with import into cushystock; IS, DT and StockXpert won't import at all.
I did a full re-install after it crashed with the first install and subsequently refused to reload.
At least the Cushy wizard seems to work and the keyword generator is great.
I emailed Cushy admin and they just suggested to do a reinstall, which I've done, but the current installation is worse than the former.
Anybody else have trouble like this with Cushy Stock?

Yes, I have problems with newer versions too.
1.8.5 is on my computer the last stable version. Otherwise I get problems with FTP uploading.
Mostly it helps to close and restart Cushy when making changes. Like adding keywords and then uploading. When I don't restart I can 't see the thumbnails in the wizard.
It's perfect for organizing images, keywords, financial statistics and so on, but importing portfolio doesn't work very well.
With stocks like Istock I set the image "pending" first and then go uploading.
The same when using the "batch uploading" from stocksites.
When installing a newer version I make a recovery point first and then for safety an extra backup from the file "Cushystock.dat" in the program. (That file you have to backup daily). When I find problems after upgrading and testing I can simple go back with the recovery point.
If you want to try 1.8.5 and can't find it. ask Alex Bakulin for it and he will send it to you. (some providers don't allow e-mailing "exe"-files)

I also have heaps of problems, my version is 1.9.2, things like losing the status of images and cushy losing actual locations of images.

I have emailed the developer and he tells me he is working full time on version 2.0 which will solve all the problems  :-\ here is hoping it does as it is a program that can save a lot of time if it works

Sounds like you have similar problems to what I'm experiencing as I have the same build.  It's not even worth using Cushystock until the problems are fixed.

Has anyone had success upgrading to the newer 2.0+ version of Cushystock standard?  It seems like it's not accepting my serial key, so for now I am just waiting on hearing back from support.  I guess I'm stuck with 1.9 for now.

I am in the middle of doing a review for them on their software and highly recommend buying the old one over the new one.  The new software still has a tone of bugs to work out.

I was able to upgrade from 1.9 to 2.0 with no problems.  Since I had so much trouble with cushystock before I just don't use it except for using the keyword generator, which works pretty good.

I just tried 2.2.2 and posted my results on the cushystock forum.
http://cushystock.com/en/forum.html

At this point, let's just say I'll be using 1.9.2 for a lot while longer, until the kinks are worked out for Windows XP users.  I don't have Vista, so some of the problems I am experiencing might not apply to everyone else.  I basically wasted a good half day's work time trying to get everything transferred over, migrated, etc. only to find out that I am going to be using the 1.9.2 once again.  The new keywording tool is incredible, though - very well done.  Very similar to using photokeywords.com but in addition thesaurus/synonym options.

Does anyone have a backup copy of 1.9.2 laying around anywhere?

I can't seem to find it online - they've all been replace with the newer versions.  I need to put it on a different computer.
