Review and link to a trial version. If you have a stack of images and don't need this for a long time, maybe get them all ready, download the trial and process. Then see if you are pleased with the results, and buy.
If you have an older computer and not much memory and older video card that's not 8GB you might find processing takes some time.

Topaz may make good products, but their "customer service" is terrible. I recently attempted to purchase AI Gigapixel, but their site rejected my credit card. I knew there was nothing wrong with the card, but I called the card company and verified it just to be sure. Topaz doesn't have a support telephone number (or any phone number that I could find for that matter), so I sent them a "help" e-mail. I described that I wanted to purchase their product, and that their website incorrectly rejected my credit card (I wanted to use my business credit card only). It's been a week now with no reply. Very frustrating experience!

it doesnt improve every picture, but on most it does give an improvement - i upsize by 150%, then reduce to original
it's slow, but i just run it on another computer,or set up to run overnight

i use it ! very good software and very powerfull.

Photoshop Size up + Sharpening do the trick (better)

I needed to take a 12mp shot from a point and shoot, which needed further cropping and turn it into a 30x30 inch print. I used a trial of Gigapixel as part of that workflow. The results were fantastic, but I did a lot of work on that image and I can't say how much affect the software had on the final image.
