I'm with SFR since beginning of them and today there's over 700 images in my gallery. Till today I have 12 sales (!)
I shot generally nature (environment, animals, flowers), food (studio shot), objects, ect... I give as much matching keywords as I can. Other agencies give me sells every day, but not SFR.

Now here's my question - what's wrong?

If you, guys, sell your images here, tell me please:
What do you sell? What do they (SFR) want? What is the client need? People, isolated, no nature?
I like SFR for easy upload, but the sales... I'm confused  ???

Sales are veeery low and this month almost non-existent. I would like so much to see them grow but I don`t think it will happen anymore...

I agree. Last year things seemed to be picking up. But lately, it's incredibly slow over there. I think the opportunity is passing for SF. The site is already starting to look dated compared to other companies, and no big marketing push ever happened. They had a golden opportunity where they could have presented themselves as the simple, affordable alternative to istock with straight-forward pricing, no credit shenanigans (1 credit really does = $1 at SF), you could go there and get the images you need and pay the price you expect to pay.

They're just taking too long to get things ramped up, though. And at this rate I doubt it will ever happen. It would have been easier to capitalize on the failures of istock, but it is much harder today to gain any momentum with SS being so strong in the market. It's harder to take customers away from SS than it would have been to scoop up those customers looking for an alternative to istock over the last year or two.

Selling online is dead on arrival with out a great marketing and advertising campaign, if a co. Feels they can't afford it they should probably not start an online anything.

I uploaded to StockFresh because of the track record (StockXpert) of the founder. I just requested my second payout ($50) and I've been with them since leaving iStock exclusivity in June 2011 - so just about $50 a year.

I uploaded about 1,300 of my portfolio and haven't uploaded more because there just didn't seem to be any point unless the marketing picked up.  I'm not going to remove my work unless they embark on changes in price or terms that I can't live with.  I don't think there's anything contributors can do at this point - it's about the agency, not about our portfolios.

I joined them at the beginning of this year and at that time their place on the rankings was way up.

I had very good old days with StockXpert, and I like the concept of this one, but unfortunately my experience is not very different  :(

I don't get even views.

I still get a trickle of sales each month.  Will continue to upload because it takes very little time and they're probably doing well enough to keep going.

reaching payout every 3 or 4 months with ~5000 portfolio and uploading is easy

And may I know what kind of images (generally) you sell here? I wonder if there's any sens to upload nature, when they preffer people isolated?

5k images? Wow! Long way for me to do :)

To me that is a horrible indicator of SF performance.  I get my $5 - $10 a month no matter what and how many I upload.  Peter has tried, but I don't see them going anywhere and keep expecting that "thank you but we're closing" email any time.  I still upload there because it's easy and I don't feel I have anything to lose.

I don't really have people or nature in my portfolio,
but with sporadic sales like these it is difficult to figure out what is selling in low earners.

To upload or not to low earners?
I have a rough estimate of my "hourly rate" or how much my time is worth.
If uploading is easy and there is enough sales to cover my time used to uploading
it may be worth to upload from this perspective.
Of course, you may have other reasons to upload or not to a specific agency.

When I upload to low earners I really don`t count that as "working time".

I only upload when I am busy with playing tower defense games on the first screen while waiting until GL is done on the second screen. If I wouldnt upload I would just play tower defense games :D  8)

My last sale was in June(!), and now I'm seemingly forever stuck at just $1,50 short of a payout. Unbelievable.

The opportunity to gain some market share and use the momentum has passed long ago. Sales are horrible, there's no marketing campaign so the site doesn't attract new customers.

They're almost 3 years old now, and they haven't grown at all in terms of sales.

I uploaded about 200 photos to try them out in July/Aug, no sales so far.
Those images include some of my best earners on other sites.
It's a nice site to upload to, but there must be something seriously wrong about their marketing, the images seem to just sit there.
The next thing to do is probably to delete my account.

I uploaded about 2800 files three years ago and made about $160 in that three years. I see zero pick up, zero future opportunity.  The main reasons I stick with them are:

If they get bought out or absorbed into a stock agency for which I am not a contributor.
When I have nothing to do I'll start an upload and let it run.  That parts pretty simple at SF.

I never had a single sale  :-\ I think I'll close my account ... ! Sames images are selling on other sites.

And I'm thinking about the same, I'm gonna delete all PF. There is nothing going on, no matter if I put new images or not... No clients action at all.
Last 2 images sold in Nov. 2013 ($0,70), wow...

Owners have experience in the business, a well designed, nice looking website with fast/responsive pages, reasonable prices on buyers site, fair royalties on sellers side, so everything seems fine but the sales. At the beginning of 2013 they were performing much better than today. So what has changed, what is it that they are not doing today but they did in the past? Is it marketing?

I don't really check my sales there. Just at the end of the month. Usually I get one or more a month but the RPD is over $5.00 so I don't see them as hurting my sales elsewhere so why not leave my images there and collect some Christmas money at the end of the year.

I just went to check and see how I'm doing on my progress towards the annual payout and I may hit $50 before September at this rate :)

A few sales in January and one so far this month - won't help me with the move to a beach hut on Tahiti but it's at least enough to leave what I have there.

Still wouldn't recommend this site to someone who wasn't already there though.

Strange, as they usually replay in few hours... I wish that sales were so fast here as contact with support ;)

I would say the biggest thing that changed is the google images issue, which has been discussed elsewhere in these forums.

Making it easier to swipe images from google images rather than go to the site where the image is hosted hurt most of the stock agencies to some degree, but I think it took a greater toll on the smaller sites.  GL has seen the same sort of drops in sales and been honest about what caused them.

With 2000 images they average $2 per month and are my agency number 19 out of 22.

I only submit there because uploading is easy.
