Do they sell well? They look too artsy for stock video.
-
OK, I guess nobody sold any video there.
-
I'm not sure what defines "well" but I've got monthly sales of video. Paid off my Mavic at least, although now i've upgraded I'm behind again.
as to your second point, I have myself muttered something similar. ;)

I've heard they are making a killing on their sales there 8)

Video there sells like a hot cake on a white background.

Sorry, I was under the impression that Stocksy asks for exclusivity, is that correct?
If that is the case, I don't think anyone doing video would ever upload as an exclusive

[I know that this is an old thread but don't wanna start a new one]
Thinking about applying to Stocksy to sell some more arty clips. But then I saw this in their terms and conditions:
3. Supply of Artistic Content by Member
(a) Supply by Member: The Member agrees to provide Content to the Cooperative, at the Member’s sole expense, in accordance with this Agreement and the policies and procedures of the Cooperative and the Site, including but not limited to, any then current submission policy guidelines.
(b) Member’s Ongoing Supply Obligations: The success of the Cooperative and its Members will depend on the active participation and contribution of its Members. Accordingly, the Member agrees to use his or her best efforts to provide Accepted Content to the Cooperative on a regular basis throughout the term of this Agreement.
So I'm obliged to regularly upload content? Without getting paid? What happens if I don't upload enough? What is "enoguh"?
@gillian vann if you see this, would appreciate if you share your experience with that :)

You're obliged to participate and support the co-op. That can be done in different ways. We aren't currently worrying about "enough", because we voted to lift the membership cap last year, and aren't actively pruning the roster. Although the editing team is there to help you if you need a point in the right direction in what to shoot.
-
Part of being in the co-op is acknowledging your commitment to Stocksy. That's part of the culture. Now there are many who don't bother to upload at all, and for a while we discussed what to do about those people, and the solution that came out was to lift the cap to allow more members in (rather than suspend non-performing members). As Sean said, your performance isn't monitored, and there are many ways to ask for help if you need it.

I know (rejected direct) people who sell video in stocksy through other contributors, but they are sporadic sales. Is a photo site.
I know is a great site, but they have rejected me so many times that I will not waste any more time, and im in adobe premium, offset and other sites and i dscovered i prefer microstock sites and create video.

That would be a violation of co-op rules. Stocksy is not meant to be a agency for distributors.

Addictive for example

All members submit work they created or fully own.

Tried once, got rejected so that's it from me. Wont bother again.
