Kathi, did you misread? Are you really get accepted by Stocksy?

My guess is... she misread the Stocksy tea leaves, was embarrassed, and deleted her posts.

No reason for embarrassment, Kathi. It could happen to anybody.

I had a heart attack too when i saw that i could fill my account of information such payment details and stuff like this :D

Still putting my portfolio together so when I saw the request for more info knew it was part of the process but can see how it could easily be misinterpreted.
Kathi - I love those white roses in your port - don't leave us cause you're embarrassed, as you can see, we all understand and hope we'll be hearing that you're in for sure. And if you're not we'll commiserate.

It was the same with me! :D I opened Supply Agreement and the first sentence is: "We love your photos and we want to license them for you." My first thought was "They accepted me!!!" But then I came to realize that I just sent my application so it isn't possible. Now I'm waiting for their response. Kathi, did you experienced something similar? :-)

I believe Kathi wrote the same sentence. I have to agree, it is very misleading.

That, to me, reads like "You're in."

Unfortunate choice of wording if that is in fact not what it means.

Really, that sux, if they have that language up for every hopeful applicant to read. They should revise or delete that language. I feel bad for Kathi.

They love our photos without seeing them?
Extremely disappointing.
I thought that Stocksy was different from others stock agencies, managed by honest people. In reality they can be liars just like their competitors are.

Yup, I was happy a split second too then I got back to reality pretty fast.

I feel terrible for the misunderstanding but seriously by looking at the link below I don't think Stocksy is at fault.

I think these pages were initially for those who received Stocksy invitation, so they saw their portfolios already. It was last year. They changed the application process and photographers have to create their account, send portfolio and sample images at one time so this sentence from Supply Agreement could be confusing now.

I'll assume it was originally an oversight, but you'd think with this thread, they'd have changed that opening sentence by now.
"We love your photos and we want to license them for you" is pretty unambiguous, so strange if someone then gets a rejection.

No problem for me: lifestyle photos and social media promotion, 0 out of 2.
If I did both, obviously I'd have to consider it seriously.

Hey guys - The confusing section (as we understood it) has been removed so it shouldn't be an issue for future applicants.  If we didn't get it, or there's another suggestion, let me know.

Sean, how long does it usually take to get an answer?  Mine have been sitting there for a week and I don't think that's a good sign.

Thanks, Onepoint.  I haven't heard anybody say how long they had to wait for a decision.

My application status is CA-PCA. Anyone know what that mean?

Just a little "UP". Does anyone know what that mean? I searched it on the net and the "California association pest control advices" site comes up upon my face!

Congrats!
But show us the numbers, what we can expect on Stocksy, they still don't have any poll results visible...
