Agree. Earnings are lower than expected for me as well.

And especially low compared to IS partner program earnings (from May, as they didn't post June earnings yet)
Maybe earnings at IS are from other partner sites, not from TS?

Good news for those who were accusing us of damaging the whole microstock industry by opting in to TS Wink

I thought Thinkstock and iStock's PP were one and the same. When you opt into the PP program, what exactly are you opting into?

if you opt into the PP program at IS, then pictures are sold at TS as "iStockPhoto" and at photos.com*; although photos.com is now part of TS as well!

if you opt into the PP program at StockXpert, then pictures are sold at TS only as "Hemera"

furthermore, TS gets photos from a lot of other sources (mainly other Getty collections)

I thought you didn't like subs?  I like subs but deleted my portfolio from StockXpert, as the thinkstock commission is just $0.25.

Geez, big confusion!  I was referring to the StockFresh site (another thread - dumb me!).  I plan, if accepted there, to upload some files and see how the site goes. If it becomes another subs site, I'm out.

I was confused too. I was thinking "what does she mean 'get accepted'? All you do is go check the box for Partner Programs. Glad you cleared it up.

Might be wise to see reports on sales and whether subs are instituted on Stockfresh before uploading, if you are accepted. As far as the Partner Program on istock, if you checked the box in your control panel, your images will automatically be sent to Thinkstock (subs) for $.25 a download, with no chance to level up and make more money.

It is about 20% of my StockXpert earnings and it gets 6st position on the right side column, between 123RF and Bigstockphoto. The reason for StockXpert collection doing so bad is  a terrible position of Hemera collection in TS search engine.

It makes sense from their point of view: they must know that the average quality of StockXpert is lower than IS and are probably adjusting search results accordingly.

I'm not saying that there aren't great pictures and photographers in Hemera, but since they accepted pretty much everything at StockXpert - compared to strict criteria and upload limits at IS - it's inevitable to have a mixed quality.

One....   sale....  25 cents..     my my my...I'm just racking up the bucks!!  I don't know if my migration is complete... i only have 48 images there from the StockXpert stable...  and personally, most are not ones I would have picked.  LOL    None of my IS stuff is there..   From what I can tell...  anything I had on both StockXpert & IS ... didn't go over. However,  some of my best sellers on StockXpert that were NOT on IS... didn't make the migration. Huh    Pretzel logic seems to rule at TS..   Ain't nothing like the old StockXpert days...   hope the boys from Fresh pick me up.. Cool=tom
