For those of you who didn't click on the link - the prizes are

1st place - 80 GB Video iPod, featured image on home page and in monthly newsletter

ok, what percentage of people who are members of StockXpert are aware that this was announced? the only reason i know about it is because i happened to read this post... i never frequent the StockXpert home page or the forums only rarely... the only page i view on a daily basis at any of the sites i belong to is the page that shows me the current downloads and i'll bet there's a large percentage of folks who are like me and will never know about these contests.

if a site wants me to know something important, they should email me - i read my email.

am i the only one?

Are you an StockXpert newsletter subscriber? I plan on announcing it in the newsletter, which goes out this week.

I also thought about other ways to get the word out. We could definitely blast the contributors with an e-mail. I will talk to Peter about it.

Too bad that even if I decide to try and submit, everything will be "not what they are looking for" just like everything I submit with iStock has phantom "artifacting"

I've told them to go easy on that rejection reason for the contest.

Just make sure your entries have "parentingcomp" as a keyword, and the word "CONTEST" is the last word in the title.

If anyone has any questions, just let me know.

I really do recommend signing up for the newsetter. We are coordinating the contests around the newsletter schedule. Plus the newsletter sometimes has new developments and site news that even I don't know about.

If you are not already signed up, go to My Account --> Profile --> and click on the newsletter box under "5. E-mail and message settings."

Just want to remind you that the April contest comes to a close in a few days. To ensure that your entries are reviewed before the May 4 deadline, please make sure "CONTEST" is the last word in the title of your image.

Also, all entries are required to have "parentingcomp" as a keyword.
