I don`t know if it just me, but I can`t sign in to Stockexpert, I opted out from TS and deleted all images and requested the final payout.
I tried different ways to log in, no chance at all.

Is there any of you who opted out are in similar case?

Yes me. Can't login any more, can't see any earnings still there of course. That means all proof is gone, and Getty deleted the accounting. Got no email at all they will pay out and when. Got no notice on Paypal of any payment from them. It's not my problem they are "overwhelmed". This procedure and the way it is handled smells like fraud. They should have kept SX accessible at least to check the balance due.

make sure you are trying to log in on the right page.

I haven't deleted my images, so that might be the difference, but if I try to log in on the regular StockXpert page it doesn't work but if I log in on this page
http://www.stockxpert.com/my_account
it does work.  Or if I try to log in on the top right box on that page it doesn't work, but the log in box in the middle of the page does work.

That doesn't work for me either - like you, I did not delete my images and now cannot login to the old page as well as the link given above. It also doesn't matter which of the login boxes I use, it just drops me back to the same page  ???

Correct, thanks. I deleted my images but I can still log in there although not on the top of the main page. I think I'll backup the earnings page offline as proof of my balance before they close that loophole too.

I opted out a while ago and recently deleted my images.  Have been able to sign in any time I wanted to.  Till this morning and when I tried again, it let me in.  No discussion happening in the forum - latest posts on 14th.
Thanks for tip on making a screenshot of the earnings outstanding!

I think they have not moved any of my pictures to Thinkstock, and there is no reason for my StockXpert account to be active anymore. Maybe you can log in because you have StockXpert pictures at Thinkstock, so you can collect earnings. Does this make sense?

No, because I deleted all my images and have none at TS but I can still log in.  I also think they said we would still be able to access our previous sales records.

I deleted my portfolio and requested final payment somewhere around Feb. 2 or 3 and I can still log in to the same page I always did. But I just took a screenshot of my earnings, in case it disappears.

And I agree with tomasvargyasi...it isn't our problem they are overwhelmed. I don't know why they insist on treating us like idiots. They KNEW when they bought StockXpert what their plan was...they knew some people would go to Thinkstock and they knew that some who were at StockXpert were already at IS and when the time came some of those people would not opt in to TS. They knew ahead of time how overwhelmed they would be...we, on the other hand, were told nothing and when we are told something, it's still nothing because it doesn't work the way they said it would. I guess the word professional isn't in Getty's vocabulary.

I have repeatably tried to log in with the suggestions on here and I always go back to the same  page. I requested my account to be closed around Feb 2 or 3 and deleted my pictures. They e-mailed me and said that the account will stay open until Feb 11 and then final payout would be sent out.

No payout in paypal yet.

Here is a warning e-mail I received from StockXpert/iStock team prior to accepting final payout. It pretty much says that requesting final payout = closing your account, so you shouldn't be surprised that you can no longer log in there.
Quote
Thank you very much for your email.

StockXpert is not closing to our contributors.

Please note that requesting your final payout will also close your StockXpert account.
Your files are eligible to be featured in the new subscription site - Thinkstock.com. If you choose to keep your contributor account with StockXpert, you will continue to accrue royalties from any sales through Thinkstock.com. The royalties will be added to your balance monthly, and as usual, once you reach 50.00 USD you cash in your earnings.
Of course, if you decide at a later date that you would like to terminate your account, you can do so at any time and all royalties earned will be paid to you.
Please confirm that you want to close your account.

I couldn't get in at all yesterday with Safari, even after deleting cookies.  I did get in on the first try with Firefox.  This morning, it's back to working with Safari.  I'm guessing a programming glitch on their end.

I got in yesterday the way Leaf suggested... it worked fine..  but most of the site has been wiped out..  I sent mail, but have had no answer to my query....
basically the only thing left is access to my images and balances.

I was opted in on StockXpert and in my IS account... I got email saying my port would be migrating to ThinkStock..  but as of now...  I have no images at ThinkStock from either StockXpert or IS.
I couldnt care less if they dont go there... but...
I'd like an answer as to if I AM or AM NOT going to ThinkStock...  If not,  I want a cash out.  ... support mail is lagging now-a-days...

Well let's see now.  They have our images, they have our money, they've shut down the site and they aren't answering emails.

Why am I not surprised?

This is reinforcing my thinking that I should get out of Fotolia and their web of "partners".

Realy I don`t know what to think about.

Let me ask, after reading this message:

It is weird, least they should made an announcement that those who opt out, their account will be suspended after the given date or so.

Since you deleted all your images, asked for payment, and closed your account. Why are you surprised that they closed your account?

Wouldn't it be more unusual if they kept your account open and paid you, which people would then be asking, why they still have an account, when they closed it?

I'd say the closed account is a good sign that something is going on, rather than just having your message sitting in a mailbox somewhere, waiting for someone to read it.

I agree with you RP, but not totally. Deleted my images, opted out and want a final payment it is true but, after or until that, I expect to be clearified what`s next.

No email that they confirm about closing my account or going to make the payment, just guessing. I would expected that before they cancel may account, they notify me about that and confirm a payment date or a payment period (30 days after closing the account), and then I know that all the things between me and StockXpert are finished. Not to mention that some of my vectors are appearing at TS in a very ugly preview, it looks like more CMYK preview than RGB.

Now I have to wait and hope it will be a payment somewhere in the near future (if it will be).
I hope that you are right and yes, it`s a good sign they closed my account. I`ll let you know about when it comes the moment  ;)

I know there's 53 threads on this... so i'll put it here... perhaps some of you have gotten the same ...
I was concerned about not showing up yet on ThinkStock.... as none of my IS work is there either...    I was told...  phase II & III  have still not happened... be patient.
If you're in the same situation...  the answer is, everyone has not been migrated yet.  He gave no indication how long it would take.

I would think that everyone understands now that if you want a cashout under $50, you need to delete your account.  If you had sub'd in  and you WILL be migrated over to ThinkStock,  you need to keep the StockXpert account open as at least for now,  that's where your ThinkStock sales will show up.

Not the smoothest transition I've ever seen and actually amongst the worst, but I do not think the folks at StockXpert had anything to do with it.. seems it all came from the new boss.  8)=tom

Repeated my request today and got another auto-reply for my collection.

I wonder if I'll ever see that money.  This really reinforces my thinking about low-producing sites - forget about them, they're not worth the hassle or the risk. And by risk, I mean a lowball site folding up and some guy taking off with all the images on a removable hard drive.

Right now Getty is just sitting on all this money, drawing interest on it, with no need to do anything about it anytime soon.

90 days means they can draw interest on other people's money for an entire accounting quarter.  If this were a local company I'd be emailing the BBB and the state Attorney General's office right now.

I can tell you something more interesting. My account is already canceled, so I can`t sign in, but yesterday I went to the stockexpert.com to check if something new happens over there. For my bigest surprise, after the main page loaded from StockXpert, I noticed that I`m signed in to the site with a username that is not mine. I had chance to check his details, earnings etc. This is something weird. I made a screenshot and email the user who`s account I was in and send the screenshot to him also. He lives somewhere in Australia and I`m in Europe.
Lucky him that he made recent a payment request, so no one could retrive his money.

Something strange is going on, and it could be happen to everyone that they kept the account over the StockXpert. I hope that, this is a singular case and no other user going to have their account exposed to other users.
