I have 20 some images stuck in the reviewing queue for nearly a week by now. I don't remember the last time they were this slow.
Are they still taking in new images? Their home page hasn't been changed for ages. Did IS fired all their staff or what?

I've got a bunch in the queue that are nearly two weeks old, so I've been wondering the same thing.  Sad

Ditto. The sales are getting better too.

For the last few weeks, review times were very slow. But this week, very fast. Sales are looking better for me, too.

80% revenue is from photos.com and jupiter unlimted. Not looking good when those sales stop.
I had a large batch rejected for "we don't want this" since then 90% acceptance. reviews about 1 week

Uploaded a batch late last night and all on-line by the time I woke. Review times are usually 12 hours or less nowadays.

Last two batches took about two weeks, then all of them (100%) rejected with "that's not what we're looking for".
Never had that before...

Sales have been good here, but they are photo.com and jupiter sales. Like many others I am worried if a switch happens and they dumped. Reviews are currently slow.

I noticed with my past 2 uploads that things have been a little slower than usual. Before that I was getting approvals in under 24 hours.

Review times are not very consistent; sometimes hours, somtimes a day.  Now, I have some waiting for several days.
Like others, I've noticed that a long wait usually ends in batch rejections.

The latter case sounds as if the reviewer may consider the images to be borderline and they then get passed to a more experienced reviewer. Nowadays there is so much over-supply of new images, at least in popular subjects, that the agencies can comfortably afford to reject anything borderline.

That's interesting. I know occationally at IS I get "pending executive review" or something like that, but most time it's due to logo/copyrights etc.

My first batch was reviewed within 24 hours, the next 4 uploads took about a week but I contacted them and those were reviewed instantly: just coincidence or what?

I haven't uploaded in a couple of weeks, but reviews were fast enough then.

My big concern is what TSMarkley said above^^.   Just coming off an outstanding sales month at StockXpert because of JIU/Photos.com sales.  Maybe customers were stocking up on images that won't be there later.

Whatever the reason, I anticipate a hit to the wallet in November as a result of losing those two sites.  Add to that the fact that IS seems to have dropped independent images way down in searches (as they did last year at this time), and it's is a bit worrying.
