Hi!

Best luck for your second try. I also applied with istockPhoto and lucky oliver - haven't heard anything from them yet. The first agency which I applied with was shutterstock...about 2 years ago. Got accepted with them, they are making the biggest profit for me - try to get with them if you are not yet.

All the best,
Michael

Hi!

Said that - don't put too much energy into stockXpert at the moment. I uploaded 50 photos out of my portfolio yesterday and 50 photos today. Guess what? All rejected within minutes for "too low quality"! The second batch got mostly rejected for "overcompression". I do not think that the rejection reason which they give you really reflects why they rejected those photos.

These photos all do great on dreamstime and shutterstock for example.

Two examples:

http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=2620262

I'm not the only one having these problems. Just check the stockXpert forums, in particular the policy questions forum.

I'm not too sure what's going on there  Huh .

Anyways, I'll keep trying. I still have 500 photos (which do well on other sites) to "filter through them". At least they review the photos immediately upon upload without waiting for you to describe them - so it does not take long. This also means that they do not review the metadata (keywords, ...) which is a questionable policy in my opinion, but another topic.

All the best,
Michael
